  1. Probably a smart decision from B.C, rib injury can be one of those long term lingering injuries, it’s a long season, no point risking further injury.
  2. I’m not saying he’s Casey Printers, but.. B.C Lions, to the NFL, back to the CFL and numbers drop off significantly compared to their first stint does sound awfully familiar.
  3. He’s definitely not an X’s and 0’s guy, maybe more like the football version of P.K Subban
  4. I don’t think it will. They kept Strev in the pocket quite a bit. Zach has a better arm and I think he can hit those short to intermediate a little bit better, but I think you’ll see a lot of the same, steady ground game, play action, and schemes to get the ball into their playmakers hands.
  5. Sucks but excited to see Peterson get more touches and maybe see what Cooley is all about in a bigger role. Hopefully Brady can get healthy and we get him back when it really matters.
  6. Funny enough. JT played pretty good. I actually saw him disturb the pocket on more than one occasion. But in a rotational role he can actually provide something, the issue is last year they were playing him like he was prime Doug Brown.
  7. Rourke was wound up, I mean it’s in his head at this point. He is never having any fun playing against our defense.
  8. Something no one has mentioned so far was I thought Hogan called a hell of a game. We’re going to score a lot of points this season whether it’s number 17 or number 8, I really enjoyed some of the X’s and O’s He drew up. I think you’re going to see an opportunity for good receivers to make plays often in this offense.
  9. From the interviews I’ve heard from our OC and O’Shea they believe Strev can run our regular offense. No gimmick plays, or deployed as a glorified running back.
  10. Friction? Based on that. I’m generally curious. I have listened to Hogans interviews and what O’Shea has had to say about Hogan and I’m impressed with his mindset and philosophy. Now that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s going to be the next hot shot coordinator, but it doesn’t give me reason to understand why the Bombers brass are so high on him and why he got the opportunity to run the offense.
  11. I guess they forgot to mention 39 year old Trevor Harris, 36 year old Michal Johnson, 35 year old Jermarcus Hardrick and the fact the majority of their free agent signings are all 32 year old plus players, hilarious. I love the young talent we brought in, in the past year plus, the silver lining of all those injuries last season was to give some of our younger talent the chance to develop.
  12. He’s just straight up not a starting QB in this league. Par that with an average st best receiving core, I think offensively the Elks are going to be in tough again this season.
  13. Sounds like his cycle ran out before heading back to the regular season.
  14. The way Buck (a former QB) used Strev should be a crime. Absolute dog ****
  15. I met the soon to be mother of my child at the Bomber game against B.C. our first date was August 3rd 2023 We beat the Lions 50-14, I had my last ever first date, Less then 2 years later, we have season tickets together, we bought a home, and we’re expecting our first kid together. A lot do amazing memories In a short amount of time, especially against the B.C. Lions! Go Bombers!
  16. Bo Levi throwing some absolute ducks out there.
  17. And I just checked, lost on the finals to the other league super team! Dakota!
  18. Luke Wilson has joined TSN as a CFL sideline analyst. I watched his “takes” before on NFL games and he is an absolute moron lol
  19. These lists are always terrible but I think it’s an absolute joke we don’t have a single DB in the top 50. Best secondary in football and I’d take Bonds, Nichols and possibly Holms on some of the DB’s who made the list.
  20. Rourkes 4 TDs, and 9 INT’s in 9 games is ugly! Especially considering how good BC’s receiving core was.
  21. No doubt we’re getting a reputation, sure we have a good team, great fans, but if you were a young baller and you had the chance to go to Winnipeg or another team that’s won multiple grey cups like Toronto, which team do you choose? Probably the team that will give you the opportunity to make the roster and make a name for yourself.
  22. Argos had the balls to release Ka’Deem Carey because they feel like they have someone younger, and cheaper to replace him. This was after a 1000 yard season, 1400 total yards and 8 TD’s.. We have a few vets that don’t even have enough in the tank as Carey that im hoping today we move on from but I wont hold my breath.
  23. His salary is the biggest thing against him. If he’s going to be a 5/6 guy we can’t be paying him to be a 2/3 guy. I feel like we have enough guys that can “get the job done” on the bottom of our depth chart that it’s pretty hard to justify the salary.
  24. Really excited to see how things progress. A lot of good prospects on the defensive side of the ball. Want to see one or two vintage plays from Schoen to see that he still has it and then hoping to see some of the young receivers step up. Battle for 3rd string QB looks interesting too, Wilson will probably get it but really liked what I saw from number 16.
