I just don’t see what they see in Johnson. When you have a tall deep threat like Wheatfall ready to go. A guy that had a 100 yard gsme and was developing chemistry with Zach. It’s so obvious Zach doesn’t trust Johnson they always try to game plan to get him involved early but when it’s crunch time the ball is never thrown his way.

This takes the cake. This actually might be the worst use of game day management I’ve ever seen. At least with injuries you could excuse some of it previously but yeah this is bad.

What ever DD. That ended up being the best decision the Bombers ever made. We’ve had more success in the last six years than the Riders have had over a 100 years and that’s just sad. Screw DD, screw the riders and can’t wait until we give them our annual banjo bowl game thrashing.

The offense was moving the ball with ease with Collaros in the line up and it was absolutely stifled without him so yeah I know Zach isn’t exactly 2022 MOP Zach but O’Shea rightfully puts a lot of respect on his name.

51-6, 54-20, 33-9, 35-10 the last four banjo bowl games. We all know the LDC is the Riders grey cup. We beat them in their own barn, with a healthy Zach and maybe a return of Stanley Bryant, I have no doubt in my mind well cream these guys at home.

Buck has single hand idly ruined Streveler’s reputation. Why he doesn’t trust a guy who was throwing the football in the NFL to throw the football is baffling. Considering Buck was a former QB. He should know better. I hate that run option play because it’s either going to Brady or Streveler is running the ball. Mix it up with a throw every once in awhile. It’s completely frustrating.

Even though he only played a half. I would still give Collaros one of the three stars of the game. He was moving the ball around with ease. Offense absolutely dried up once he left the game.

Imagine if they let Streveler throw the ball on second and short. All 12 players on the field know it’s going to BO or Streveler is going to run. Imagine if they had to cover the pass.

Have to give credit. That was a beautiful punt as well!

He’s been unbelievable all season. You just don’t hear him very often because he blankets his receiver.

I know our record in Regina for the LDC isn’t great and we’re bummed by Bryant not starting but I haven’t seen this low level of optimism in years. Remember the Riders haven’t won a game since the middle of July and we’re on a three game winning streak. I’m not ready to count us out yet, offensively the guys will have to be better then they were against Hamilton, and having Randolph having reps at LT all week will help, and defensively I’m not worried we’ve been outstanding most of the season. In fact having an un mobile QB like Harris in the line up gives our D an advantage. We don’t have to worry about him taking off like Patterson last time we played them. Go Bombers!!!

I would feel very uncomfortable with Thomas as our seventh o-line.

We’ve been asking for Buck to use Streveler properly all season. If it hasn’t happened yet I don’t think it’s ever going to happen.

Exactly. Everyone could see we saw the best of Zach. hes 36 years old and not going to be getting any better. In fact there was a noticeable decrease in his level of play last season and he wasn’t good enough when it mattered for the last two grey cups. Dru is a decade younger and was outstanding with the same weapons Zach had and although it remains to be seen if he could do it over 18 games, there’s a lot of room for growth in his game. I said for the last two seasons he has a pro Arm. He can make those deep out throws and his decision making was something he could work on but last season his decision making was noticeably better than the season prior. The level of growth from Dru led me to believe that even if this season was a wash, by the time we host in 2025 we’d be getting Dru at his prime, and room with our cap situation to make some big moves.

Robert’s was absolutely amazing. To put up 2000 all purpose yards during his prime the years we had a terrible o-line and guys like Tee Martin as QB was absolutely incredible. We’ve been blessed to have some great running backs in Winnipeg for the last 20 years but it all starts with Blink. One of those worth the price of admission kind of players.

Man letting Dru Brown go was a franchise altering move. The cap we would save from Collaros to Brown alone would have allowed us to retool this year and really go all in next year for the grey cup at home. But now we’re handcuffed with Zach because of the guaranteed money.
