thing about Mohammed Hassan was it started out Differently. Originally he was a guy heeling on American for treating him like he was a terrorist just because he was Muslim. It was a much higher-brow story. But they simplified it to him just him being a bad guy and using terroristic imagery. He was pretty good thoigh and had good heat. But the network banned him from TV so that was the end of that. -
Has any team had an all you can eat/drink promotion yet this season?

WWE Survivor Series is still scheduled to take place Sunday at Philips Arena in Atlanta, despite reports of a planned attack by terrorist group ISIS. Hacker group Anonymous said Saturday it had uncovered information regarding planned ISIS attacks for Sunday, including at the site of the wrestling pay-per-view. This comes on the heels of the terrorist attacks in Paris last week, which left 130 people dead. World Wrestling Entertainment has since released the following statement concerning the status of the show: "WWE Survivor Series is currently scheduled as planned while we investigate the matter with federal, state and local authorities." In an official statement made to Channel 2 Action News, FBI officials made it known that the threats are being looked into: The FBI is aware of reports of an alleged threat that includes an Atlanta, Georgia venue and event. While we take all threats seriously, we do not have specific or credible information of an attack at this time. We have, however, made the proper notifications as we continue to work closely with our law enforcement and private sector partners to keep our community safe. The show will be headlined by the semifinals and finals of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament, with the winner of Roman Reigns-Alberto Del Rio taking on the winner of Kevin Owens-Dean Ambrose for the gold. -
Burni was tegressed. He still has the talent and potential. I'm not sure what the problem is. But I touted him and I was wrong. He's still cheaper and younger than Frolik and Frolik would not be a big difference maker here.

Belgium has placed Brussels at the highest terror alert level, citing a "serious and imminent threat that requires taking specific security measures as well as specific recommendations for the population."

Anyone pick up Battlefront yet? I haven't but I'm disappointed to learn there is no campaign mode. Not a big fan of the online multiplayer.

Trouba is one of chevy's top picks. Don't see him wanting to trade him. He drafted him and brought him here to develop. Unless the day Trouba turned pro he was as good as he'll be

SW2? You mean the dreadful Attack of the Clones? I agree about Lucas. I read a great book about the franchise and the word was the originals were a mess until his wife fixed them. And Ofcourse Kasdan made sense of Lucas' terrible dialogue. I respect that he owns them and feels like they are his to do with as he pleases. But he doesn't seem able to reconcile making wildly popular films for the masses that made him a billionaire and making persona films for himself.

Someone made a good point on H&L last night. Trouba is one of the Crown Jewels of Chevy's draft and develop mentality. Trading him so soon is an admission they drafted Wrong Jets are stubborn. They kept kane for three years after he asked for a trade and only traded him once there was a public locker room issue. Jets might stubborn themselves out of opportunities.

Snip from CNN story about George Lucas (sad that someone could be so out of touch about his own creation! Lol) "You go to make a movie and all you do is get criticized," Lucas told Vanity Fair. "People try to make decisions about what you're going to do before you do it. It's not much fun. You can't experiment. You have to do it a certain way." He expanded on his remarks to CBS News. "The issue was ultimately, they looked at the stories, and they said, 'We want to make something for the fans,' " Lucas said, presumably referring to Disney, which purchased Lucasfilm -- including the "Star Wars" franchise -- in 2012. "People don't actually realize it's actually a soap opera, and it's all about family problems; it's not about spaceships. So they decided they didn't want to use those stories. They decided they were going to do their own thing, so I decided, 'fine. ... I'll go my way, and I let them go their way.' " Lucas had little involvement in the forthcoming film, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

Here's a couple of conversation pieces from our favourite rumor mongerer (Eklund): On Tampa and Winnipeg I am hearing the Lightning have talked to Winnipeg about a deal that would bring Tyler Myers to Tampa for a "young top 6 forward." What is a bit curious is Hamonic rumors involving Winnipeg could be tied to such a deal. The Jets would probably not be able to keep both Myers and Harmonic. I continue to hear the Isles best option is Winnipeg and finally...the main event.. I am hearing Loui Eriksson linked to Winnipeg in a deal which would see Dustin Byfuglien heading to Boston....Both players are in need of new contracts and both look likely to move on next year...could the Bruins sign Dustin?

Grey Cup Ticket Sales

Had a chance to hang out with the Grey Cup tonight. Very cool. Getting excited for the game. -
Yeah in the big picture it's not that bad. But it's a man calling a woman a ***** in front of a female journalist who wanted to make it about how a man treats a woman rather about a jerk using a word in the context that could apply to either gender. I'm generally a feminist but I don't see this one. As I said, bigger story to me is he's a liar and a coward.
-
I can respect his desire to resign. It was newsworthy. I'm not sure from listening that he meant "*****" in the context that she's a female/****/hooker but ***** in the sense that if he was speaking about a man he'd use the same word. Stupid choice of word. Deserving of apology. I'm fairly sure he said *****. Which makes the MP in question a liar. "Horde" doesn't really seem to fit he context. Id be more disappointed in him lying after he fact then admitting he chose his word poorly. The journalist is a woman right? I wonder if she is letting gender bias make it more personal for her. I'm not saying she doesn't have the right to feel stronger about the word than others but her personal affront about the word is irrelevant to the soeaker's intent and context.
