  1. Definitely more of a game changing player then Laurent
  2. ? So i guess we can hire anybody at any position? Like they'll be gone in a year anyway, like whatever. Know what I'm saying.
  3. Stupidity Kohlert is 10 times the receiver poblah is.
  4. Statistically that isn't true. TOP for Bomber opponents in 2009 was 30:24 and in 2010 it was 31:14. I seen that and it's accounted for by the interceptions, statistically the 2009 team had to defend many more drives.
  5. Not looking at the whole picture. In 2009 we also had: 17 lost fumbles, 28 passes intercepted, 157 punts, so not including turnover on downs or MFGs we gave the ball back 202 times. In 2010 we had: 16 lost fumbles, only 16 passes intercepted, 140 punts, which is only a total of 172. Yet in 2010 our defense gave up 395 first downs vs 388 first downs in 2009. In 2009 they gave up an average gain per pass of only 7.1 yards, vs 2010 an average gain per pass of 7.5 yards, and they also had a lower percentage of passes completed against them. Finally in 2009 they only gave up an average of 5.2 yards per rush, where as in 2010 they gave up an average yards per rush of 5.8. In short, the ONLY reason any of the stats are worse, like yardage or points against, is because they spent far more time on the field, despite having far more interceptions. Which is pretty amazing considering half the games got so out of hand they just got mad at the offense and threw in the towel.
  6. At least he didn't answer the question about how much he knows about offense like a complete idiot.
  7. Nah, he was so stupid as a HC, I can almost guarantee you he's job as a DC was a fluke, either that or he really was good back than but thas lost his bloody mind now.
  8. definitely in the end everybody will see how overrated he was as a DC.
  9. My money says Sheets was juiced up on something.
  10. Refs have been absolutely brutal, that taunting call, at least 5 missed PI calls that should of been called on Saskatchewan, and a missed head tackle so far and it's not even half time.
  11. Why would we want doug berry, if he wasn't good enough for us before and he's not good enough for the Als now...
  12. it was Tim Burke's defense that brought this club to Grey Cup in 2011. Previous to that he's defense is in Grey Cup 3 consecutive years. i admit he's a bad head coach but he's a very good defensive coordinator. Swaggerville in Winnipeg and AC in his prime in Montreal being the bigger reasons than Tim Burke. While in Montreal due to Calvillo+Cahoon and co., any defensive coordinator would of had it easy.
  13. Rather have a guy with higher peaks and he'd eventually get more consistent than a guy who consistently sucks.
  14. I beg to differ on the Tim Burke is not an idiot comment.
  15. The Bombers aren't publicly owned, their a Non Profit Organization, so the Board would have to approve any take over.To be accurate they are "community-owned team" No they themselves says they are a non profit organization.community owned non profit organization?
  16. Finding truly elite runningbacks is not easy at all,if it was every freaking team would have one, right now onlw sask and calgary have that. 2 out of 8 teams...
  17. He had the odd lucky game here every now and then too.
  18. No problem brining him in, just as long as we still look just as hard for top quality imports at his position, we have a tendency of settlign on players whether they deserve it or not. My issue with him is he started the year so slow that I really doubt he trained as hard as he should of in the off season.
  19. Well yeah, that goes without saying. But the Bombers wouldn't be on the hook salary wise if he didn't work out, and RB is one of the easiest positions to backfill with an I if he didn't work out. BTW, the difference between "lights out" and "meh" is apparently 10.5 yards and 10.1 yards receiving a game, with rush/rec averages down 1.1 and 1.2 yards per, and a difference of one less touchdown every ten games. On a team averaging 30 yards less in rushing and 53 yards less in passing per game vs 2012. So yeah, he's completely fallen off a cliff talent-wise. umm, 4.8 yards per rush is lousy in the CFL in the current era and yeah 1.1 yards per rush is a pretty decrease in production percentage wise when you're only talking 5-6 yard averages.... More importantly, it's not his stats that i look at, it's actualyl watching him, he doesn't look near as explosive.
  20. The shelf life becomes an issue when you go from lights out one year to meh the next year, as it doesn't usually bode well for the rest of your career.
