  1. There’s only ONE Canadian trio: Pierre Berton, Don Harron, & Wayne O’Shuster
  2. M Ferguson was very good. In addition to his fine PbP he was able to keep Suitor reigned in by continually redirecting him back to the game. He also seems to have good command of the rule book…a basic requirement for all pro broadcasters.
  3. He is, however…a big smart man.
  4. Wasn't Marg Osborne hot?
  5. I think Don Messer won one too, so take it for what it’s worth.
  6. He repeated how the defender didn’t turn his head (not hips, for a change) to the outside fast enough to break up a TD pass. Trouble is; the pass was caught on the inside of the defender. Mentioned it at least twice and once while the replay was being aired.
  7. I’ll be in Montreal for their whiteout game against the BB. Looking forward to wearing royal blue regardless of who and where these specialty games are played.
  8. “Oh oh, here comes old Mo…..Momentum.” Barph!
  9. I would accept Ford cheering for the state of gas prices rather than having Suitor on the mic.
  10. HH - The RB coach in charge of clock management. The first half should have ended with a Ward fg
  11. Not sure if teams submit a “wish list” to schedule makers before the season schedule is set, but ticket sales will never be higher for WBB vs Ott. than with this game. Banner raising/season opener might get more people out than you could otherwise reasonably expect against them. Why the rematch next week? Who knows.
  12. I like The Matador as a handle too.
  13. You did a fine job. I would be pretty proud if this was my work.
  14. Wish Randle could have “tasted the good water”-D. Ritchie
  15. This…and for mercy sake, he has to stop asking Suitor his opinion. It’s almost theatre of the absurd.
  16. I counted 5 consecutive plays where neither he nor his nutlicker sidekick called the game. Absolutely horrible work.
  17. Most were done last month.
  18. It would, in essence, penalize the other teams by moving them all down, one player in the draft, because of the winner’s additional pick. Not necessarily a big deal, but still a penalty for having done nothing wrong.
  19. Didn’t they try to shoehorn him in as a tackle? Guess he didn’t make the transition from guard.
  20. At my age, the only ‘roids that bother me aren’t the injectables.
  21. Steve "The Baylor Bowling Ball" Beaird. Beaird was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the seventh round of the 1975 NFL Draft. When he felt like the Cardinals low-balled him with their offer, Beaird instead signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. Twenty minutes after agreeing to sign with Winnipeg general manager Earl Lunsford for "quite a bit more on the signing bonus and a whole lot more on my regular contract" than the St. Louis offer, Beaird got a call from the Cardinals. "They said they were going to give me what I wanted, we think you're worth it," he said. "And I told them, 'No, sir, I gave my word, I can't go back on it. I'm going to Winnipeg.''' In two seasons with the Blue Bombers, Beaird rushed for 1,367 yards, caught 51 passes for 584 yards, scored 16 touchdowns and had another 1,372 yards in kick and punt returns. A CFL all-star after his second season, Beaird walked away from a three-year contract that would have paid him over $100,000. (https://baylorbears.com/news/2019/11/15/football-you-can-t-have-one-without-the-other.aspx ) Great player...horrible nicker.
  22. Regardless of origin, Hansen is a big time component of the last 2 championship seasons. As a valued teammate/team member, there is no way the league should be dictating his wage. It’s OK to throw a gazillion dollars at the Lawlers and Dukes of the league but Thiadric can’t get a bump? Bullshit!
