  1. The play your referring to, where Pierce ran 48 yards and beat multiple defenders, you’re not going to see that very often.  There was nothing routine about that play.  If that’s what you come to expect of Buck now in his career, no wonder you’re disappointed.

    But that's the very point.

Buck is no longer allowed to try to make those plays.

I'm not even sure he has the mindset to try.

Everybody has told him not to do what came natural for him and that severely limits what he can do as a QB.

  2. This frustrates me to no end. Washington had fumble problems last year. So did Chad Owens. Washington proved last year that he was capable of breaking big returns as well which is something we've been looking for for a very, very long time. Jovon hasn't had a great return since that BC game two years ago and even his most staunch supporters can't say that he's not slow at this point in time,

The phrase great return is subjective I guess, because last year, in the final game, it was JJ's lengthy return that set up our last touchdown, which won the game.

    That was pretty 'great'.

  3. Yeah, I'd say its better to focus on Parker than Coehoorn and Ianuzzi...

Was never a fan of picking Mitchell or Parker... but kind of hard to gloat when we traded up to get Pencer...

But yes, Jade will be awesome depth behind Kohlert.

Don't forget, we didn't trade to get Pencer...we took Pencer when the guy we wanted (Westerman) was Buono'ed by BC.

And both those NI receivers you mentioned are fine additions to our receiving core.

  4. I'm not here to defend Buck, Lord knows I'm not a supporter, but he hit Watson often and Kohlert often and tried with Mathews, but Mathews didn't seem focused. He scrambled (not well..but) and executed a questionable game plan, but, he did enough to win us the game.

While our D did win us the game, Buck did play a part.

I have said he needs to do better and he still does, but at least that gives us time for a back-up to emerge.

  5. How do you get exceptional out of that TD drive? Heck Kohlert was so wide open on that big play that if Buck threw it quicker he would of been in the end zone on that play easily. Montreal choked on that drive, and it was still a struggle for us to get in.

Your trolling sounds so unconvincing when you put thoughts like that to words...
