  1. He was a mess...no question about it.

For those who aren't following along on Twitter, Mack says it's basically a non-issue and that it's his understanding that the whole thing will just go away. Hefney will play tomorrow vs Toronto, and his status with the club will be judged solely on his performance, and not anything to do with this incident.

Glad to hear cooler heads have prevailed.

  2. 1st one on the field, Justin P trying FGs. Looked good 45 and in, but came short beyond that. The trend continues.

The punters were next, except Renaud to start. 78 & 79 out kicked Cameron on this day.

Renaud came out later and all the punters took turns looking good or bad, depending.

Directional punting was a challenge, both sides of the field. No determined winner there.

Overall, my take...Pav, in a close one.

Renaud will start....Pav and Cameron will be kept around. Hutchinson is worth working on, but I doubt we have the room.

Next, a general comment on the overall practise routine....way better than last year's routine, IMO. There were very few times you can see players being inactive ie. standing around. They had everybody moving around (running) from one area to another and the players knew what was expected of them. Different than last year. Kudos to the coaching staff for the organization of the workouts.

Actually, the coaches can be lauded for coaching, then explaining to individuals if necessary, what is wanted.

The atmosphere surrounding the practices is better, louder (from the players) and more intense. Good to see.

Especially liked the two passers, two receivers drill where 2 centres hike the ball at the same time and 2QBs alternate throwing to different receivers (while rotating all the QBs in and out)

They practiced breaking the huddle for punts and moved quickly with purpose. Good to see.

As to the QBs... Not enough visibility to comment, so I'll leave it at that.

Noticed: Parker, Ford, Simpson, Pav, Poblah, (size similarity Etienne and Adams) and for the first viewing....OMG, the stadium.....fantastic.

  3. Crowton's offense got progressively better last year. You could see him making adjustments as far as dropping plays that weren't working, etc, as he found his groove. Looking forward to see what he can do with a full year of his own offense.

And just what is wrong with trying something over and over and over again?....it's bound to work sooner or later.

    Sincerely, Paul

Question how do you post just the link and not the video itself ?

I have tried paste and paste as plain text

I haven't tried it on this site, but in the past I have just gone to file and clicked on 'mail link', then when it pops up, just right click on the link and copy and paste link.

  5. i'd like a different rank than "Advanced Member" please... (but hey... my member is kinda advanced... B) )

maybe "Double Blue Prophet", or "Heroic Poster who Fired the First Shots"... or just "Daddy"

You could be the Al Pacino on here,(sort of) with Scarfface

  6. DiCroce was cleared by the doctors at McMaster, his personal doctor and the training staff at the CFL Combine.

He passed those stress tests and the opening physical at Bombers camp. Sometimes guys just get hurt.

Don't really buy this at all.

If you're trying to say there's something else afoot, then I have to disagree with you.

It just seems unfortunate luck for the youngster and the Bombers. There's no way they're going to jeopardize a player's career for rookie camp.

    What's your theory?
