Main Camp
Veltung has looked good today. Hope he can find a way to stick on the roster despite a lot of good receivers ahead of him. We have a lot of speed at receiver so far.

Main Camp
Even the new practice jerseys look sharp today.

Touchdown Celebrations @ IGF
All I want is more replays, of both the touchdowns and regular plays...

Royal Blue uniforms are officially back!!
The new jerseys are absolutely, positively, amazing.

Ed Tait working for Bombers
Sounds like it. This leaves Penton as the only decent CFL guy in Winnipeg.

Wiecek Article: Pressure Mounts On And Off Field For MOS
If you have time to write the Bombers and complain what the coach is wearing on the sidelines, you have too much time on your hands. I like O'Shea, though my concerns about his coaching ability continue to mount. Hopefully he puts it together this year. This is the best coaching staff and roster (at least from a pre-training camp view) we have assembled in his tenure. If he doesn't show improvement, the debate will be settled. Also he needs to get a real phone.

Turner & Denmark Released
Surprised to see Denmark go. Would have liked to have seen him in LaPo's offense. I expect he will catch on somewhere and do well.

Bombers mini camp in Wpg Apr 25-27 open to public
Pretty excited for the mini camp.

Schedule Out
Probably a lot of truth to this. Weekday games ensure more people are in the city (the Bombers and CFL love to bring up the cottage-goers leaving for early weekends) but you're also sticking games on days when people are often just more busy and work early the next morning. I'm not thrilled with the direction the league is headed with these weekday games, but don't consider it that big of an issue yet. Will be curious to see ratings this year. I attributed it a lot to the terrible product the league put out last season but this may very well factor in as well.

Schedule Out
I'm in the minority it looks like but I'm not a fan of the weekday games. The sweet spot I think is Friday night.

Uniform changes with Adidas may not be dramatic
Wish they would make the new ones official soon. With the new free agents and optimism around the team it would seem to be a great chance to sell jerseys.

Free Agency 2016...
Hurl is underappreciated here.

Free Agency 2016...
Added 5 starters in Harris, Smith, Dressler, Shologan, Cummings - really 6 starters with Medlock. Strong work from Walters and the Bombers. It doesn't sound like they overpaid for any (always tough to say without full numbers), which is another good sign. Players want to put on the blue and gold.

Free Agency 2016...
Think he did a good job with the Canadians obviously, but the work at WR with Smith and previously Dressler is good because he identified the roster weakness and also that our scouting in that area has sucked.
-
Free Agency 2016...
Its hilarious. This is the whole point of free agency. Obviously the Bombers would go after other team's players - the Bombers had holes on their roster everywhere and re-signing their 2015 roster would make very little sense given their record. Plenty of teams have made moves and plenty always do. He's just cranky.

Free Agency 2016...
This looks like a really good haul. Takes the pressure off of scouting and it looks like we have a solid plan.

Bombers Sign Macho Harris and DL Sheyon Green
If Harris makes this team then it'll confirm again the fears most have about our terrible scouting department.

Uniform changes with Adidas may not be dramatic
When do we think we'll see the new uniforms?

Picard Released
Even at a lower cost he would still be really bad.

Around The League Off Season Discussion
Good for Orridge not allowing Thorpe to just transfer laterally to another position, but I really don't know how the rest of this will play out. I can't see Thorpe actually remaining in Montreal now.
-
Around The League Off Season Discussion
I don't see anyway Thorpe can possibly be allowed to move from the Als to Esks. Its not a promotion and he is currently under contract. If this happens it would seem to greatly change the CFL coaching opportunities.
-
Around The League Off Season Discussion
I can't see Ottawa winning this. I don't think an assistant jumping to head coach should warrant compensation but a head coach under contract should, in my opinion.

RedBlacks want compensation for Maas...will be Orridge's first big test as commish with this.

Around The League Off Season Discussion
Dyce signs on with the RedBlacks to be their ST coordinator. At this point I hope O'Shea keeps the ST title.

LaPolice new Bombers OC
Fixing the OL is a must, otherwise any OC is doomed here.
