  1. Something that gets lost in the mix when comparing the excitement of CFL vs NFL is the amount of games played each week. The NFL and broadcasting partners have a much larger pool of games to select from. If 3 NFL games are super exciting one week, people talk about how much excitement there was for that week....but if only 1 game from the CFL is exciting, people complain that it was a boring week.
  2. I think people need to understand that the kicking game is actually a part of the game of football. It's not some side project etc. It's important. I'd encourage him to get involved in that side of the game. The more versatile you are, the farther you will go.
  3. I've actually thought about this exact thing for a while now. The AFL does well because they know who they are and who they AREN'T! They're not rugby and they sure as hell aren't the NFL. They have their identity and they use it. There are so many small teams/leagues that feed the AFL. When the CFL was cancelled I started watching the AFL (Only because one night after I got home from my buddies after a few too many TSN was showing a game and one of the teams playing were called the Bombers.) and I was impressed with the presentation as well as how it's set up. And it starts from the very bottom, young kids, teens, then to semi-pro etc all feeding the major league. While also holding on to what makes it unique (the rules, the players etc). They aren't trying to be the NFL, which is something I think the CFL suffers from. Basically everything the CFL does, is a shittier version of what the NFL does especially when it comes to the broadcasts/marketing etc. Smaller markets, youth, semi pro etc are all things the CFL should immediately start developing and not only developing but with DIRECT ties to local teams.
  4. If we sign Collaros for over 500k our chances at a 3 peat are basically done. You can't win championships with a QB eating up a solid chunk of change like that. For evidence...see the rest of league with over paid QBs.
  5. What do i win!?!?!?! ....oh wait...
  6. No thanks on Masoli. I would very much like the Bombers to sign Evans. But I doubt that happens.
  7. I'm going to guess a bunch of nothing.
  8. no. It wouldn't. The issue isn't with the study. They're reporting what they found. The issue is the articles leaving out important information...like good luck finding CBDA or CBGA and the amount you would need to consume (Not smoke fyi) would be so high that it makes the finding basically irrelevant. It's a start though. The study was done in the states, so it's not surprising they focused on those two cannabinoids as it's very hard to study THC etc down south due to it's federal standing. But yeah the chemist I spoke with said these results wouldn't be news worthy if it was anything other than cannabis...which is why this is all for them CLICKS! so no credentials analyzing chemical compound studies and their results? Sorry I just don't see how your credentials apply in this case? Also I'm even more surprised about you comment on Lawlers use (and seemingly lack of knowledge of how wide spread cannabis use is in our society) given your credentials.
  9. Yeah thankfully being in the cannabis industry, specifically on the medical side has made me VERY skeptical of any studies regarding cannabis. They're often done with loads of issues...this one didn't have that. The study itself is well done and they documented their findings....but the articles written about it have been problematic to say the least.
  10. I actually agree with you on this. I came across this study and asked a few doctors/skeptics/chemists etc about it. First their dealing with CBDA and CBGA which are essentially not available to the public in anyway right now. And 2nd the dose a person would need to take/product they would need to consume makes this finding laughable (in the words of the chemist I spoke with). Like many studies involving cannabis, the articles written about it makes the study look like it's a miracle. But when you read the actual study and discuss it with experts it's nothing more than click bait. Unfortunately this study is nothing but click bait.
  11. Not just the Bombers. But the CFL. The marketing around the CFL in general is just so frustrating. When I look at the lack of innovation from a company who can basically do whatever they want, it makes me want to scream!!
  12. May want to revisit Wieneke skill set. He is 100% a deep ball guy who can go make the hard catches. I believe he had the #1 play in the 10 plays of the year with a fantastic deep ball catch.
  13. I think Kongbo gets another NFL look and sticks down there for a bit.
  14. I said it earlier that Trump will never see the inside of a jail cell. That's just not how American justice works.
  15. Still can't understand simple English eh? Still trying to "trigger" me eh? It's ok if you want to continue using a word, no one is gonna hurt you. I didn't realize you had such a personal connection to it, my bad.
  16. Wasn't Trump supposed to be arrested and in Jail by now? I seem to remember something about that...
  17. Those are the only things they can do in 1 week. If it's to give kids a chance at getting another shot or the first, then it should be a 2 week window. We keep pushing the inevitable back and back like COVID is going to vanish. I'm so done with our "It'll be their problem soon" type of governing which makes passing the buck to the next generation to save some $ look like the best choice. SPEND SOME ******* MONEY AND IMPROVE SOME ****!!
  18. Pushing in person back 1 week so teachers/schools can prepare....even though there will be kids in school that also need to have teachers present. And what exactly are these "extra efforts" that they're talking about? I'm betting nothing that will actually improve the chances of my kids NOT getting covid there. 1 week is not enough time to improve ventilation in every classroom in the province....which is exactly what needs getting done. Anything short of that is borderline a waste of time. COVID is not going anywhere, it's about time our leadership pulled their heads out of their asses and started realizing that.
  19. That's fair. I suppose I could debate it with someone who is looking to have one. But facts remain the same. Marijuana came to represent Cannabis via racism/propaganda
  20. seems like you may need some reading comprehension help. lol cool story. I don't care what you think about left wing etc. Facts don't either. Marijuana came to represent Cannabis via racism/propaganda, prove me wrong... People seem to think I'm saying no one is allowed to use the word marijuana. And that's fine if you want to think I said something I've never said. It's fine to call me woke/left wing/nut job etc etc simply because I'm presenting facts. I guess that's what happens?
  21. again...it's not a racist term. But it's ORIGINS in being used to describe cannabis are due to racism and propaganda. This isn't a debatable thing. This is just well documented history regardless of how many people don't want to believe it.
  22. nah they'll leave that **** for Friday at 4pm
