  1. I know there was... not a problem, but definitely a feeling of disappointment in the locker room around Eli and his decision.
  2. Actually I believe Naylor reported that Masoli has since been vaxxed
  3. It's not only the travel issue. The locker room is very much FIFO. He unfortunately chose to not FI...maybe he plays in the CFL, but I would be surprised if it's in blue and gold.
  4. I dont think Eli is playing in the CFL next year. The GOAT is back. Bryant has signed
  5. I've heard through the rumour mill that he is considering it. Was a hard year for him on and off the field.
  6. If you consider a game filled with back ups a real-game rather than an end of year "lets see what these guys can do-game", sure.
  7. I understand that, but you are also leaving out the possibility that BOTH OCs mismanaged him.
  8. I mean....Cam did go to the super bowl. And I'm never gonna put too much weight behind Westwoods ability to scout QBs. The cardinals where they MADE him a pocket passer as a rookie? That cardinals game? After that game every single CFL fan was wondering why they forced him to stay in the pocket instead of doing RPOs or even a roll out every now and then, when that clearly is not his strong point. I'm having a hard time understanding why people can't see the differences in Strevs game vs Nichols and why the playbook didn't fit Strev as well as it fit Nichols/Collaros. They play different games. It's not surprising to see why he had his struggles. Like I said, 12 games starting is not a big enough sample to decide either way.
  9. To say definitively either way is showing a bias. He's started what 12(?) games. Far too early to write him off. Also he **** kicked the Riders so that has to be worth something!!
  10. If you're really going to get into details, you'd HAVE to take injuries into consideration. 2019 they were best in the league UNTIL injuries struck. Then they fell off until the end of the year when Collaros took over and the D transformed into one of the greatest of all time. And if you look back at 2019 at the scores in games we won while Nichols was playing, all of them save for 1, have at least a 7 point lead (CGY game is the exception as the BB won by 2 points) and the games they lost are within one possession. Even the hamilton game was only lost by 8 points. While Nichols was playing they were a dominate team. While Collaros was playing, they were a dominate team. There was really only a 4 game stretch where they went 1-3 where they weren't dominate and that was heavily influenced by injuries.
  11. Yeah if Collaros isn't an option, I see Strev as the next best available. I'd expect them to build an offence around him which would really be interesting. But I would honestly trust him as a full time starter. There would certainly still be a bit of a learning curve, but I'd be ok starting the year with him under centre.
  12. WTF...you have to be next level snowflake to request this type of nonsense.
  13. HEY!! Put some respect on Michael Scott's name!! He was the only Branch Manager able to turn a profit in Dunder Mifflin!
  14. Dunk can talk all he wants about big contracts, does he talk about how those teams have done since signing those contracts? At the end of the day, collaros has proven he should be the highest paid qb in the league. But highest doesn't mean $700k a year. That's absolutely brain dead for someone to suggest. I might get flak for this, but this organization made Collaros look better than any other team could have. I said it early in the year that he was getting away with bad throws often....and a lot of that luck ran out in the playoffs....but thankfully we had another player who also proved he should be the highest paid in his position. Bighill and that Defense were a larger contributing factor to our record and playoff success. Collaros hopefully knows this. I'm sure walters knows this. At the end of the day, if Collaros wants more than he should have, he can find out just how good our team made him look on the opposite side of the field. Basically I do not believe Collaros is needed to 3 peat. Our Defense is.
  15. Candace Owens is literally an idiot who talks in circles, but will push the envelope and appeal to "I'm not racist I have a black co-worker" types. Her opinion on literally everything except how to gargle right wing throw up, should be ignored.
  16. While I agree with both sides as in, it's really nothing...but it IS bush league for a CFL rep to be speaking that way. I fail to see how a person who is payed to represent the league is the same as a fan forum....?
  17. Something that gets lost in the mix when comparing the excitement of CFL vs NFL is the amount of games played each week. The NFL and broadcasting partners have a much larger pool of games to select from. If 3 NFL games are super exciting one week, people talk about how much excitement there was for that week....but if only 1 game from the CFL is exciting, people complain that it was a boring week.
  18. I think people need to understand that the kicking game is actually a part of the game of football. It's not some side project etc. It's important. I'd encourage him to get involved in that side of the game. The more versatile you are, the farther you will go.
  19. I've actually thought about this exact thing for a while now. The AFL does well because they know who they are and who they AREN'T! They're not rugby and they sure as hell aren't the NFL. They have their identity and they use it. There are so many small teams/leagues that feed the AFL. When the CFL was cancelled I started watching the AFL (Only because one night after I got home from my buddies after a few too many TSN was showing a game and one of the teams playing were called the Bombers.) and I was impressed with the presentation as well as how it's set up. And it starts from the very bottom, young kids, teens, then to semi-pro etc all feeding the major league. While also holding on to what makes it unique (the rules, the players etc). They aren't trying to be the NFL, which is something I think the CFL suffers from. Basically everything the CFL does, is a shittier version of what the NFL does especially when it comes to the broadcasts/marketing etc. Smaller markets, youth, semi pro etc are all things the CFL should immediately start developing and not only developing but with DIRECT ties to local teams.
  20. If we sign Collaros for over 500k our chances at a 3 peat are basically done. You can't win championships with a QB eating up a solid chunk of change like that. For evidence...see the rest of league with over paid QBs.
  21. What do i win!?!?!?! ....oh wait...
  22. No thanks on Masoli. I would very much like the Bombers to sign Evans. But I doubt that happens.
  23. I'm going to guess a bunch of nothing.
  24. no. It wouldn't. The issue isn't with the study. They're reporting what they found. The issue is the articles leaving out important information...like good luck finding CBDA or CBGA and the amount you would need to consume (Not smoke fyi) would be so high that it makes the finding basically irrelevant. It's a start though. The study was done in the states, so it's not surprising they focused on those two cannabinoids as it's very hard to study THC etc down south due to it's federal standing. But yeah the chemist I spoke with said these results wouldn't be news worthy if it was anything other than cannabis...which is why this is all for them CLICKS! so no credentials analyzing chemical compound studies and their results? Sorry I just don't see how your credentials apply in this case? Also I'm even more surprised about you comment on Lawlers use (and seemingly lack of knowledge of how wide spread cannabis use is in our society) given your credentials.
