I stood behind Friesen for almost a half an hour at noon today and not once did I see him glance at the field more then 10 seconds. All he did was as he puts it "Flap his gums" to all the other media guys there.
So was this his first day at practice? Did he bother to show up for rookie camp? Because if he is comparing Kelly to O'shea after maybe 3 min of watching practice I have lost the last ounce of respect for that guy.

Was down at IGF at noon. Caught the last 20 min of practice. And wow Willy does have some nice throws! Woods was lining up at WR for a few plays and made some nice catches.

We hire the the best o-line coach ive ever seen or heard of and because he has some other commitments, this is a bad idea?

Another feature from the stadium design that was chopped/delayed for when they have a few nickels to rub together.
They had most of the posts set up outside the stadium to honour the Grey Cup teams, but didn't finish it, that's on the southeast corner of the site where the patch of field turf is outside the stadium.
I contacted the bombers about the nine markers last year. When they dug down to put the tenth one in they found some buried cables so they now need to move the tenth one over and then add the eleventh one next year

They will be putting up a statue of Bud Grant this year. But shhh I didn't tell you this yet

With the injuries that are happening I hope they aren't pushing the guys too hard too early.

Nope. Katz was adamant the NHL was not returning to Winnipeg because he didn't know anything about it. I won't argue with what you remember hearing but I know what I heard and saw. Katz was more positive about the NHL returning before he was mayor. I saw an interview on a local sports show where he said he's be in on any effort to bring the NHL back. The truth is Katz might be wealthy but he's not anywhere close to Chipman.
In fact true north wasn't happy about Katz loose lips during negotiations either. Katz poured cold water all over it at a time true north was actively negotiating with the league. That is fact. I didn't see Sammy at the presser. Did you?
I remember all of this too, sammy had nothing to do with any of it, im fairly certain of this. Katz is just a photo op pig, that's really what he does best.. takes pictures and then pretends he actually knows what's going on. I dont disagree with anything you said cuz i remember the same interview. Pretty much word for word actually what you said i agree with. I said sammy wasn't at the press conference and the people that actually mattered and who were actually in on it where. I also remember hearing TNSE was peed at sammy for actually going on about things like he was in on it. Fact is, he wasn't. Had no clue, and just spouted off about things because it would get his name in the papers. That's all katz really cares about.. getting his name in the papers.
As a side note to Spuds.. pretty tough to avoid politics when it was a political decision that actually made this become what it is now.
This whole transit decision was kaiboshed by politicians. Hard to avoid politics in a thread when politics are the reason for it really.

Wouldn't be much of a practice. They'd have no equipment, they'd have to head to Canadian Tire to buy a ball.
I'm not sure they can afford a ball if they go on strike.....Isn't this why they are going on strike in the first place!

Aren't the current loge seating four person?
I'm wondering where these are. I'd pay that price for a party of the seats are good.
The ones that seat four are already bought and sold for I believe 5 years by corporate sponsors. The new ones installed can be rented on a game by game basis and give fans a better experience then just buying a bunch of tickets and hoping they are all in the same row or section. You get all the luxuries of a suite but are at concourse level.

I for the life of me cannot think of an offseason with so much going on at once! There is so much turmoil and drama around this team right now. All the highs and lows are making me go from happy and elated to wanting to put a bullet in my head (ok not that bad). We have a good offseason and get some good FAs. When have stadium issues with flooding. We have a good draft and get guys we wanted rather than "who is this guy?" We have all the CBA talk and going on strike. The club announces some new and exciting things this year. Now we have the bus drama. It feels like this offseason is the longest one in history! I just want all the negativity to end and this season to start already geeesh.

Those Buck chips were ridiculously awesome and I really sincerely wish they'd come back. Because you could only really get 'em in MB, we'd have to stock up anytime one of us went home and bring 'em back to AB for game days....
Buck's legacy in this town, akin to that of Old Dutch, Jeannie's Cakes and Honey dill sauce.

Will have to try it sometime. For some reason I feel like it won't turn out the same. But stay tuned.
Ha Ha you need the right honey to mayo ratio.
For an easy Honey Dill use:
2/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup honey
1 teaspoon dill weed
If you want to get real crazy and go for Mitiz's Honey Dill Sauce use:
1½ cups mayonnaise
¼ cup honey
2 tbsp. roughly chopped dill
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp. dry mustard powder
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

MTSC has the Jetsdog. IGF should have the Willy Wiener. The hilarious and inappropriate marketing just writes itself.
They actually have a Bomber Dog already but yeah they could rename it.

As Bauming said this morning if you simply ask O'shea anything you want to know he will tell you. If you don't ask he's not going to say anything. Pretty simple if you ask me.
