  1.

For team in this current state a guy like Reinders you have to call and attempt to bring.

It's not often NI linemen get cut loose in season .. especially one with the background Reinders has .. definitely worth a look.

They did cut him to sign Tyler Holmes that's a huge upgrade for them!!  I would like to bring Reinders in if possible.

  2. So this study tells me we're the fattest, brokest, murderiest province out there then?

    :(

Ummm yeah that's pretty well what they are saying....

Without starting fights I would like to point out that they do blame one culture specifically in MB and SK that seems to lead to our dead last ranking...

  3. Gonna be interesting to see how the Riders handle this. I wouldn't be surprised to see them cut ties with Dwight Anderson, but Taj Smith is the Riders leading receiver right now. Maybe they had some pent up rage after seeing their QB get whooped in the banjo bowl?

Well if they could see into the future maybe. But this incident happened mid August.

  4. After his latest trade for Parenteau I say Walters for GM, HC, CEO, COO and Mayor!  :)

In all honesty he is doing lots to try and improve this team in such a short amount of time.  Lets hope he can keep it up!  I agree with others.  Fix the O and QB and he should be a strong consideration for GM.

  5. Bombers have signed LB/S Aaron Rouse and OL Colt Schulte to the PR.

Rouse (6-4, 227, Virginia Tech, DOB: January 8, 1984 in Norfolk, Virginia) was a third round (89th overall) draft pick of the Green Bay Packers in the 2007 NFL Draft and went on to play in 41 career NFL games, including 18 starts, with the Packers and New York Giants.  He recorded 109 tackles, one sack, four interceptions and 11 pass knockdowns in his four-year NFL career, with one of his interceptions being returned 99 yards for a touchdown.  He also spent two years in the United Football League and picked off three passes for the Virginia Destroyers in the 2011 Championship Game, for which he was named the game’s MVP.

In four seasons at Virginia Tech, Rouse never missed a game, recording 217 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss, five interceptions, four forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

Schulte (6-6, 296, Missouri Western State, DOB: April 25, 1990 in Bagnell, Missouri) played in 50 games over four years for the Griffons, including 38 starts, splitting time between guard and tackle.  As a junior, Schulte helped his team rush for 240 yards per game and 5.4 yards per carry and followed that up by being named second team All-MIAA as a senior when he helped the Griffons break numerous records while covering the quarterback’s blind side.

The Blue Bombers have also released import defensive back Joe Sampson and import offensive lineman Aderious Simmons from the practice roster.

  6. Here were my observations:

    1. Goltz had an impressive half and was 9/9 at one point and ended the half with 4 drops I believe and only one was really his fault.
    2. Aaron Kelly is a keeper!  He made some nice plays in the half and reminds me a bit like Edwards.
    3. Glad to have Watson back.
    4. Has Jade dropped a ball yet this season?!?
    5. The Miller hit on Jade was dirty and hope he gets fined for it.
    6. Dwight Anderson is still a douch bag.
    7. The 3 reversal play was a great play!  MB is starting to put his stamp on things.
    8. Suber needs to pack his bags as does Cauchy.  These two lost this game for us IMO.
    9. What was the big deal with Goltz mocking sheets?  It didn't seem like a big deal.
    10. Glad I turned it off when I did..
