  1. What is going on with them? I flew out two weeks ago and all of the West Jet flights were perfect and a large amount well over 50% of the Air Canada flights were severely delayed? Didn't we give Air Canada a massive amout of money for COVID relief? Can we get it back?
  2. With most people at first it is like a vacation where people chill and slack, but eventually the novelty wears off and for most of the people I spoke with they became far more productive. The work life balance is so much better that instead of sitting in a cubicle slowly watching time pass by, they are far more motivated to do actually work since they have far more energy and better mental health.
  3. What if the o-line gave him more time, what if the receivers made the wrong decisions in routes or when to go for the ball, what if the coach called a different play.
  4. I'm glad Walters reads this site Who shall we get him to sign next !
  5. Wheeler with his 15 , 16, & 17 goal seasons over the last three years was only marginally better then Lowry's 10, 13, 13 over the same span. I think we will be fine. We managed to score after shipping out Laine and Kane ... we will be fine.
  6. But was it Adams having a horrible game or maybe Toronto is just superior and are on a different level from the Lions? /sarcasm Because when the Bombers loss badly to the Lions you made it seem like that anyone who suggested that the Bombers "had a horrible game" were wrong and that this was not possible and that the Lions were just so much better then the Blue.
  7. People ragging on him was justified because he was playing really bad. After numerous weeks of him being the weak link people on here assumed he was hurt because the drop off didn't make any sense otherwise. I'm fairly certain most of the people on here assumed he was not 100% because of just how bad he played.
  8. I personally found this to be my favorite CFL parody of all time
  9. I'm sure TBurgess will spin this into somehow the Bombers being the worst team ever in the CFL since we lost to VAJ.
  10. I've been to a few and they are nice, the only unfortunate is the extremely high crime in the area.
  11. Indoor water parks everywhere across North America ;D I'd assume many buildings can be converted into condos or other kinds of spaces. In the States they are slowly finding ways to fill out all of the dead malls they have now. I'm sure the same can be done with office buildings.
  12. Maier does not seem to handle pressure very well. He can however at least physically throw the ball deep so I imagine as always the key for success is the d-line.
  13. I was under the impression that North America did not raid or pillage any tombs in Egypt? I thought all of that was monitored and controlled by some sort of organization from that country.
  14. I totally forgot to also mention how Usher is a complete clown and would totally fit in with the 2022 Riders team. Guy show boating when they were down by 2 scores and not doing well at all. He was an idiot.
  15. That looked extremely underwhelming.
  16. Companies in the States had tried doing this as a way to cut labor costs, it's a very bad idea and a slippery slope for jobs that do not require a higher level of skill/education. Basically it ends up as outsourcing to places like India where jobs in North America are given to places outside at a fraction of the cost. I don't understand cutting the wage, why would two people who are doing the exact same job be paid in a different amount? I can understand offering incentives such as a parking pass or maybe an extra gas allowance and maybe even a food allowance. But why would I cut the wage of an employee who is saving the company (or agency) a lot of money by working from home? If anything the folks working from home should get a bonus because they save money on not spending a lot of money on office space. We have one building downtown that was 1.2 million per year on rent and a large amount of costs associated to heating, electrical, cooling, IT, infrastructure repairs, etc... that is replaced by paying a small license for our software that allows them to VPN from home. Zero drop off from productivity since COVID and WFH. They use a different building for satellite desks/offices whenever they need to get together which is shared with other agencies at a joint cost. It's a no brainer.
  17. I guess it could be an issue with organizations that do not use TEAMS, but everywhere in the Federal Gov't that I know of is using TEAMS and it's beautiful. Makes having conversations with my co workers across the Country so much easier then trying to organize a time for everyone to call in with a phone. Being able to quickly share a screen or having others take over the screen makes things so much better.
  18. Then you die lol. If a staff member requires a manager to hold their hand and watch them 8 hours per day then the issue isn't work from home, that issue is a terrible employee. Every job regardless of what it is with has some form of metrics that an employee can be evaluated on. A bad employee will be bad in the office or out of the office. I've rarely heard of anyone who is a productive employee say that they miss being in the office and would be more productive going back. The most that I've heard is some people miss the social aspect and going out for lunches but that's a really small % of people. It's the old people way of thinking that if someone is left on their own to do work that they'll stay home and watch tv and do nothing at all. These kind of folks are the same ones who resist any sort of change in technology or processes because they fear the unknown and are comfy with what they are familiar with.
  19. 1 - D-line stuffed the run all night and got to Fajardo frequently. 2 - Oliviera he wouldn't stop pushing forward, the even better bonus is Forde only referenced Andrew Harris once from my memory! 3 - McCrae showing that people complain way too much on our depth and roster management and whining about not having Salima or whatever his name was. HH - Alexander for a well timed interception that sealed the game. The bozo of the night - Refs missing frequent face masks by the Als
  20. Wow my head hurts from listening to the annoying Als crowd and stadium music. I can't think of any gaming experience at any live event which has so much annoying noises played over and over and over again. Even if I was a home town fan it would annoy the hell out of me. Great game by the Blue, the score somewhat flattered the Als. I'm hoping McCrae is not hurt, I don't think he saw the ball in the 4th quarter at all? Fajardo actually had a decent game all things considered, I guess he's not completely washed up. Stanback did nothing at all and didn't seem to have any holes what so ever, good job on stuffing the run by our guys.
  21. I said HC and OC, not sure who would be GM. Either way it isn't about titles... look at what the hell Jones has done in the last 2 seasons. He's insane. LaPolice being chosen because it's an easy hire and someone who can at least take over instantly without a learning curve of being a HC. I don't think he would be the long term hire.
  22. I'm calling it... in three weeks Paul LaPolice will be HC and OC of the Elks for the rest of the season. Also I forgot the terrible short yardage attempt in which Edmonton lined up their d-line lol. Jones is such an idiot.
