So GSP is officially vacating the middleweight belt... is anyone surprised?

I think it's a no brainer to move up the season. The increase of attendance from fair-weather fans alone is a good enough reason to move it up. For every 1 person who loves to watch a game in the snow... I am sure their are a dozen people who don't even consider going because they don't want to freeze in the stands.

I tuned out after the first 2 goals... both of those goals were all on Comrie. I'm guessing big league nerves got the best of him.

My fondest memory of the Perkins on Pembina was going to the nearby bar (forget which one it was at the time) , mostly done our post bar meal when all of the sudden I hear something that sounded like running water out of a tap from the table behind me. I turn around and see a girl with a massive amount of hair asleep on the table puking one way... unfortunately that table was not level at all and it would go up the table and then back down across her face and then through her hair and then it poured onto the floor. The smell was a nice aroma of bile mixed with Vodka. It was at that moment that we decided to leave and give our waitress a massive tip as we feel bad that they have to clean up messes like that. The girl did wake up and yikes I'm glad that I didn't have to drive her home soaken wet covered in vodka puke lol.

I used to live across the street from the one on St Anne's .. about 7 years ago or so. Late nights was mostly riff raff starting fights in the parking lot and/or getting thrown out for not paying. If you were to go during the day and even up until 7 - 8 pm it was full of gray haired old cranky people. I assume young people only went late at night because of a lack of other options for late night food.

If we are playing the who is next from TSN... I'd put money on the weirdo with plastic surgery , narcissism and mental issues.

Sals is all nostalgia... this is why the clientele tends to be a bunch of ancient seniors....

I dunno man... I have tried 3 locations over the last 5 years and it's been terrible each time. As the other guy said way over cooked burgers with little to no flavour to them.

Didn't anyone click on the links that breaks down why they value each club at the total they give. Most of what drives those other cities up is the market size and the value of the arena they play in. Our gate receipts is better then most teams... it's just the things that the club cannot control is what gives us the smaller value. Makes sense to me.

You don't fire Hall until you have found his replacement... doesn't make sense to fire the guy and then have nobody to step in and take his place.

Shoutout to Zaxx on Henderson Hwy.... big burgers that are really tasty and reasonable prices. 5 guys on Regent I thought was extremely bland and over priced... did not see the appeal at all for it.

Unknown Poster - Definitely research the excursion companies before heading out... trip advisor usually has some good reviews if you can sift through the fake reviews that the companies put out. I made the mistake once of booking an excursion at the resort and it was a complete bust and waste of a day. I usually always find the name of the companies and check out the reviews and then book with the travel coordinator who represents Air Canada/West Jet or whatever company you are flying down with. Also good luck, Cancun and Playa Del Carmen is a lot of fun and so many things you can do. If you are into snorkelling, everyone in my extended family including myself have bought our snorkelling gear from Costco and they work really well. From my memory of Playa Del Carmen, I remember the only complaints from fellow tourists was one of the ruins was a 4 hour drive away so it kind of killed the day. Lots of walking also. I did go on a great zip line, cenote, snorkelling, jungle adventure excursion that was well worth the money... I'll PM the company name when I get home as it was a lot of fun and only took a half a day.

The D declined as the season went on.... certain players regressed. That is enough reason to can Hall. It can't get any worse then his D allowing 400 - 500 yards per game...

Thorpe doesn't fit with O'Shea's mentality... he would of been a terrible fit for our team.

Plenty of former NHL goalies have found great success in the A .... only to never crack a roster in the NHL.

From my memory of watching the show, Becky was dating Mark..... Mark would bring David over because he was the one who watched over David as they had a deadbeat mother who was abusive and an alcoholic. Darlene was majorly anti social at this point, she warms up to David because he shares and interest in drawing comics / art. In one episode it was Thanksgiving and for one reason or another Roseanne is at David's house and witnesses his mom abusing him mentally and possibly physically... Roseanne tells David to come home and eventually Darlene and David fall in love as they live together. Mark works with Dan at his bike shop and it seemed that Becky and him were going to get married. In real life the actor who played Mark OD'd on drugs so I assume they are writing him off the show to add more storylines rather then replacing the actor. I also found out that the actress who played Roseanne's mother is still alive... I wonder if she comes back?
