Ford was a wild over payment amd we were good since we have depth in our secondary. Lawler the first time he left was a wild over payment. The last time it was questionable because it seemed like we were not far away from what we offered. Also questions on Schoen coming back and lots of assumptions that we wouldn't lose much productivity since Schoen is back. Dobson it was more like "We have Eli" who can replace him. I dont remember anything about money with Dobson.

Shopping malls can be a premium place for renting. I've known a few people who have had stores and kiosks in malls and a place that is desirable (St Vital) is very expensive. Renting a space in a strip mall can be 1/4 of the price.

Did you not see the video where 2 guys on camera walk in to the convenience store and poured gas and lit the place up. All on camera. Also lol at the cell phone tracing. I'm pretty sure the arsonist isn't going to leave his cell phone number at the scene of the crime for the police to track him.

MOP a year ago... the whole offense falls completely when he isn't given the touches. NI and local guy and in his prime. You pay him top dollars no questions asked. If you need money maybe save on overspending on import guys who are injury prone (i.e. Schoen/Strev).

Willie has a role... but the problem is that every season he acts as his own agent and believes that he is the #1 guy in the league. The drop off this season was considerable and I don't think him taking a hair cut on a deal is going to work. Some other team will offer him beaucoup dollars. I'm just hoping that we have fresh blood as an OC (someone who at least has a positive track record and not a complete unknown) and no more C level guys being signed to sit on a bench. We need 2 - 3 difference makers.

Downtown is completely full of meth heads everywhere. It doesn't mean they are the ones starting fires. Usually the meth heads start fires in encampments that get out of control. Plus they have video of that one convenience store where two guys came in with gas canistars and lit the place up.

What is going on this city, is their some kind of mafia that is hitting on places that are not paying up? Several convenience stores and now a few restaurants... all non chain places.

I want to say a few years back O'Shea addressed on why he doesn't play guys in their first year. I can't remember the exact reason but it is intentional on his part. I want to say something about shielding them or having them learn from the sidelines.

I think the issue is that we are going on 3 years of waiting for O'Shea to correct his mistakes and it feels like he is doubling down on them instead. I'm perfectly ok with giving him more time with us, but I'm heavily skeptical because we have trended downwards over this time with no signs of change.

I bolded the guys that I would like to see come back. A good year for a big turnover of players (preferably younger guys). Brady, Holm, Demski, Nichols are all guys that they really need not cheap out on. Cutting old guards like Bryant, Jefferson, and Neufeld should give them some good play money to spend come free agency.

In the CFL a full team can be fixed within 1 season. When a team lacks in only a few areas then it is much easier.

It would have been nice to give Eli (and many other guys) play time to see if they could shake off rust and end up being a better player. The largest issue this club has is the refusal of giving guys a chance. I don't accept that they purely evaluate based on practices. This is the same club a few years back who refused to give starters play time during the pre season which ended up having guys struggling for the first month come regular season.

Mummy 4 may be in the works. I'm surprised that they didn't continue the series years ago. Same with National Treasure... those movies were a lot of fun.

The answers are obvious... but it's not like we only need to replace JT and things will be instantly better. I'd imagine we have like 10 starters that we need to move on from and like 75% of our "depth players" need to be replaced. This team needs a lot of new faces and new energy. Our depth has been really poor the last 2 seasons.

Walters was the guy that extended Zach for big bucks... I'm 50/50 on him.

Damn I have been so disinterested in this club this year that I forgot they were playing and missed the game. This club needs to fire Hogan and sign minimum 4 starters in free agency for next season. If this doesn't happen then I can't imagine this club getting any better.
