  1. On the radio he's gone over it a few times on how and why he does it the way he does. The last time he was on he pointed out that Streveler has a real nice touch on his throws and that he does place the ball where receivers can go make the play. Nichols has been better this year but the old eye test has shown a lot of guys having to drop down or dive over to catch a ball that could of been thrown more accurate and where the receiver would of been hit in stride. Surprisingly this season I think Nichols best throws have been his deep balls.
  2. I'm surprised Poop couldn't hang on and broke off from the team.
  3. Now that the word has come out that they are really low in sales. Every Winnipeger will now wait for the eventual slashing of ticket prices. This was poorly done and they should of made that ticket drive push way earlier.
  4. Ferguson really was pumping up Streveler on the radio yesterday, really complemented his ability to pass.
  5. I somewhat remember the knee taking game. Was that the game Joey Elliott was in at QB and was fed up after they decided to go insanely conservative and wouldn't go for a first down in their 2nd last possession? My memory was that they were marching down the field and on 2nd and long they decided to run up the gut to set up the field goal. Elliott flipped out because he had made several completions in a row. I thought they made the field goal with a few minutes left. Edmonton bombs it down the field as you said with the Demond Washington mess up which gave Edmonton the tie. I remember that the clock was closer to 45 seconds left in the game and Burke ends up taking knees and killing the clock. Which enraged Elliott again since he had just marched down the field in the previous possession. It enraged the fans because they didn't even try a safe play to move the ball down the field for a possible field goal. It was very very ugly and clearly the team should of bent over at that time since they were admitting defeat. I could be wrong but I remember it being closer to 45 seconds then only 15.
  6. Lol Popeyes in T-Cona... it will be a smash hit. DQ has the worst quality ice cream, it melts almost immediately and I find the taste to be very bland. Nearly any other local ice cream shop is way better.
  7. Autocorrect lol....
  8. Gray has been awesome as well... he's been pushing guys around a lot so far.
  9. The commentators even made a point of saying he's dropped several catchable balls.
  10. They had to... The look on Brown's face after whiffing on the PAT and the bad kick off... he knew he was packing his bags.
  11. I'd be concerned about Carey if I were Hamilton... that guy showed some really good moves in his game last week.
  12. Why is this terrific?
  13. So Disney is rehashing all old cartoons into live movies? Very mehhhhh
  14. Absolutely no reason to lose this game, Toronto is a hot mess.
  15. Also Simonise seemed to have two or three terrible drops.
  16. I've seen and heard zero ads for it so far. I haven't even heard anyone talking about it in my group of friends and also at work. It's been poorly advertised.
  17. Suitor is clearly bias for Riders. Dunigan is a slight homer for the Blue. The rest of the announcers seem neutral to me.
  18. I watched both games and my thoughts: Toronto needs to fire the kicker, the special teams coach and Chamblin needs to get his shot together. They have had terrible special teams all season long and it lost them the game tonight. BC is going to be last place...just terrible stuff from them. Man Suitor was really trying to save Rider fans from jumping over. He made it seem like it's typical for a guy like Fajardo to play this bad. After the **** play of Davis and Fajardo can TSN stop pumping these guys up? Calgary looked well coached and played with intensity today. I still think they are beatable. Can TSN stop saying RPO.... It's like they learned a new word and won't stop using it. Also can someone tell Davis Sanchez that Chris Rainey is on Toronto and not BC. I do appreciate Benevides , Smith and Dunigan for being honest on how shitty Toronto was coached tonight.
  19. I didn't read the complete thread but I thought we thoroughly kicked the **** out of Ottawa tonight. I do respect the Ottawa D for trying until the end despite it being insanely hot and humid and the Bombers O being on the field for so much longer. Absolutely zero pass rush from the Redblacks, Nichols had all day long. TSN *finally* stopped slobbering over Davis as he looked like a guy that was not comfortable and forcing some questionable balls. I didn't even notice Bighill was gone, the front 7 was rock solid and everyone including the ST wrapped up their tackles beautifully tonight. Also Ryan Lankford should be canned.... what a terrible play by him. My only concern is no Matthews yet again.... and apparently he's hurt?
  20. I'm going to crap on Nichols, he definitely wasn't a top 3 player tonight. He had zero pass rush and a load of time to make his throws. He facked up a 2nd down throw where it wobbled and floated in the air and nearly was picked off. Few of his short throws were definitely not hitting the guy in stride. Top 3 guys IMO Jefferson / Nevis Harris Sayles
  21. I'm glad Montreal won, hopefully they can pull a few more out.
  22. I don't know why anyone has concern about Jefferson. While he may not have the numbers his play has been solid and he's really contained the QB and pushed him towards Jeffcoat who has something like 12 hurries already. No concerns at all about him. Only guy on D who is on the radar is Fenner and that's about it.
  23. Cup contenders do not trade away all of their UFA's just so they don't lose out. It's part of the game and every team does it.
  24. On the radio this morning they said it was a 2 year - 6 million offer that he turned down. After that the Jets made a lowball offer and then pulled the offer.
