LeBrun was suggesting that Myers will probably get 6 - 7 million per season on the open market. Chiarot about 3 million.

A forgotten moment from the game was when Odell Willis and another BC player livid at Gray roughing them up for a few plays. From the sounds of it Gray has replaced Chungh in the nasty department.

On 1290 today LeBrun said the Jets would like to talk with Myers once they clear some other pieces up (i.e. Trouba). They definitely are interested in bringing him back. My guess he signs 6 years at 6 million...

I think Myers gives the hometown discount. The club treated him and his family fantastic during their problems over the last year. I wouldn't be shocked if he stays.

Meh I was hoping they would of done better. I guess this makes room for Myers.

I would of loved to see the stats from last season... Nichols seemed to have been very off last year and most of his throws were in the 1 - 3 range.

My takeaways..... our front 7 is damn good and I could only imagine the fits they will be giving to the weaker QB's. Montreal is screwed with Pipkin and Adams, both are absolutely atrocious. I'm sure if they called up Crompton with his 4 years of not playing he would still do better.... Calgary looks vulnerable, BLM does not have that amazing receiving core that he's been used to. Several perfect passes were dropped and killed drives against Ottawa. The defense also looks far from dominant. I think Edmonton is more well rounded then BC and will have a better record then them.

It sounded like he is not coming back at all. Crappy situation. I'd rather the Riders have no excuses (i.e. losing starting qb) as the reason for them having a terrible record this season. At this point they really have no good options, who could they air lift or trade? Maybe Ottawa parts with Jennings or Toronto with Franklin/Thompson ?

BC's defense looked real soft. That d-line was non existent and the secondary was poor when we did go deep.

He was lucky that he didn't have a few more picks.... I don't expect them to win many games if they keep lobbing 4 interceptions and a whole lot of other questionable decisions.

I think the players name that was mentioned the most was that super hamburger Duane Forde and Benevides were going to eat.

Based on how dysfunctional Calgary looked... I do have hope for this season. I didn't think Jefferson played bad, I was watching him and he was getting his arms up and blocking his lane and was getting close to Reilly. The only guys I thought that looked bad from start to finish was Whitehead , Alexander and Fenner. Nelson is a great returner and showed exactly the same as he did in pre season where he won't lose yards and will make the smart returns.

So he's a better version of Jennings

Lol Hecht is our best DB tonight! Alexander has been terrible. My only thing was the lateral... don't get cute at this point in the game with this lead. Also don't take a stupid penalty.

No **** eh? They have had tonnes of success but don't run when they need to run the clock down?

Lucky has not performed well at all in pre season and this game. I think he might be a guy they fall in love with his speed but ignore the fact that he slips and falls and has stone hands. Kenny Walker makes that catch with ease.
