The virus goes dormant during protests? So if a 2nd wave does hit and Trudeau demands people to stay home.... could we simply not throw it in his face to lead by example and go out and enjoy being in public with others because our own leader did it? Him trying to win votes clearly is more important then setting an example for protecting the health of the country. It just hammers home more so that you can never take anything he says with any sort of weight or merit.

It worked for New York back in the day.... only for people to complain and wanting to re-do it again to them these days. I don't see how they can make a drastic change... it'll be the same officers with the same equipment and with the same training. It's not like they'll have a drastic change in how they perform the duties. The only deterrent I think they could implement is a more severe punishment for any wrong doing.

I don't think the beach should be opened myself *if* they are banning sporting events and local businesses from having everyone come in as well. Personally I think they should open it all or close it all... you can't give exceptions regardless of the cause.

IMO If the city is allowing a protest then ALL business should be allowed to re-open. You can't pick and choose when a virus and the health of the public is applicable. The 15 000 folks at the leg choose to be selfish and if they are allowed to neglect being responsible then why should the rest of the province need to follow the rules? Or should the protest organizers also be fined heavily like local businesses for not following orders? You can cut your hair from home, you can also protest from home.

Wiebe on the radio did not bring much to the table... he came off as generic and speaking the obvious. I did not read his articles so I cannot comment on his writing abilities.

Not everyone, I was watching the global stream and from what I watched it looked at about 80% of the people wearing masks. I definitely saw many faces and was trying to pick out if I recognized anyone. Absolutely nobody social distanced.

Gord Miller doesn't come across arrogant when he calls CFL games. Him and Matty have good chemistry and are my favorite duo to watch regardless of whatever teams are playing. I also don't really care about Miller having a face for radio and don't understand the importance of having an attractive PBP guy to call CFL games?

I would assume in broadcasting most people would work their way to the top? Wouldn't it be the entry level PBP needing to give them a chance?

Dustin Neilson did a good job last season , I assume he will only get better once he has more chemistry with whoever he ends up with. Suitor is decent when he's calling games that don't involve the Riders.

You don't think professional PBP guys can't call multiple sports? Tonnes of them already do it in the States? Hell Rod Black does it ! I'm going to say you and Noeller are dead wrong and take a hard stance on it. If Rod Black (who isn't great even ignoring the weird tangents he goes off on) can do it, then surely other professionals can do the same or better. I'm not saying hire a guy off the street, but I'm sure somebody would like a promotion to TSN if they are hiring.

I have never done radio PBP but I'm pretty sure that if I were calling the Grey Cup I would be able to figure out how to say Harris takes the hand off for 6 yards instead of "Keith Urban you're my idol *slobber* *slobber*". Tonnnnnnnnnnes of PBP guys do multiple sports it's not that hard. Football I'd imagine being easier since it's far slower then Hockey/Basketball.

And unlike WCW .... I'd assume AEW is it's own separate entity so no suits are going to interfere with it even if business isn't very profitable. As for NFL owners....
