I don't agree. That's like me saying poverty is poverty.... and then compare the poverty in Canada where someone has to live in a smaller house and can only afford a 40" tv.... then comparing it to poverty in Africa where people can't even eat or live under a roof. As for racism....... are you suggesting that a place like Winnipeg isn't accepting of other cultures and it is the same as deep south United States? I recommend going to Folkorama (next year) and you'll see a wide variety of people and I have not personally seen anyone protest or attend a show in a KKK outfit. Canada is often looked upon as one of the best examples in the world for being accepting of other cultures.

They would have to pay folks to go see an Argos / Als game.....

Where are the police.... seems like a lot of easy tickets to give out.

They could do delivery of concessions assuming that the club could find an APP to use quickly. The Mariners used to allow people to order via their Nintendo DS's back when Nintendo owned the club.

So a typical guy in IT then? Why do people think that if someone is mega-rich that they are someone that the general public should listen and actually a give a **** on what they say.
-
I don't disagree with that Ed. No one is saying racism doesn't exist in Canada but to compare how it is in Canada compared to the States it's no where near the same.

A national standard would be the ideal solution, unfortunately every county and and every area has completely different standards and training at this point in time. It also doesn't help that the amount of funding and hiring practices wildly vary. Some places you literally sign up and they hand you a gun and tell you to serve justice. What would be ideal (my opinion) is if they had a national policing where everyone is trained the same (properly) , paid the same and where the officers move around and get assigned posts across the country. Basically the RCMP in the States. This way it would help prevent local corruption, you wouldn't have a bunch of Cletus's policing in the South and hopefully it would weed out bad candidates and hire more quality people.

Lol don't knock the George Foreman grill... I had to use one for 3 years when I lived in an apartment and they really did a good job. The charcoal grill is only tempting because I end up watching BBQ Pitboys YouTube videos and I instantly get hungry and want to make the same lol.

You would think that they would of learned something from the history of riots in LA.....

Random question .... I'm debating on getting a Weber charcoal grill. I've only used my propane bbq and my electric smoker.... do I get a charcoal grill as a 3rd option or are they over rated? Any thoughts?

You don't think it's going to impact how Trudeau runs the country do you? Remember the last time Trump was elected some people said they were going to move to Canada.... maybe it would be a prime time to fill out all those voids that we desperately need (doctors and nurses please!!) and others!

The first video is a bit boring for the first 2 minutes but gets really interesting as it goes on. It's a really unbias interesting take on Donald Trump the person. I really recommend watching it as Penn is a really good dude. ***Unknown Poster**** Clear your private messages inbox! I tried sending a love letter and it got blocked because your box is full!!

His CTE maybe gives him an excuse?

Yup. At this point as the videos keep coming out it's a mix of mostly younger people and a few crazy old people with cross bows. I definitely was wrong and have posted a few videos showing a group of different people being idiots. Poverty is usually associated with acts of crime and violence and that's what I said before in other threads. Usually gang life is associated with violence, why do people join gangs? I'm assuming it's because they come from broken families and are left to defend themselves at a young age and it's either eat or be eaten so it's safer to join a gang. You might not like this but I don't think you and most of the people on this board are racist. I think everyone is good people. I can't remember a time at all of anyone making any racist remarks about any players on our team or others. Closest to anything bad that I've seen on this board is people insulting people in Saskatchewan for being inbred?
-
Get a warning because I have a different opinion? Or because my opinion is that I think racism is bad, I think that most people are good, and the violence is bad? Yes I should get warned for this?

I guess the next month or so will be crucial. A great time for Biden to speak up and win people over. I wonder if Bernie was the candidate how much in public eye he would be and based off what I've seen with him I think he would of killed it and really swing a lot of people on his bandwagon.

Unfortunately people just become numb to it because it is the norm. After the 100th time of him doing something that no previous President would ever do... it just becomes "Typical Donald".

It looks like the UFC Light Heavyweight division will be cleaning up the streets! Those are two guys I would not want to mess with! Good for them! When Jon Jones even for a brief moment is a good guy you know the world is upside down!

2019-20 Grey Cup Champs Off-season discussion.

Well it's telling that some Bombers (I don't have a list) retired and ended up staying in Winnipeg. It's a great place to raise a family and I'd assume much safer and probably cheaper then most places in the States. Any of the current Bombers who helped win the cup will be treated like royalty for ever. -
And your remark of generalizing that most or many white people are racist is not awful? My point is that you can't group everyone together based off the bad things that a smaller group of people have said/done. Maybe we come from different places, my friends, co workers and circle of acquaintances are not racist at all and are mixed and matched and are good people. I've seen bad apples and most racism that I've been exposed to is from older folks or folks from the country (see Bible Belt). I wasn't aware that the people that you associate with are racist and that's unfortunate that you've experienced this. You're claiming that many/most white people are closet racist...so therefore a good chunk of your white friends/associates must be racist since that's what you claimed. It's either that or you carry a guilt for having those thoughts on your own. I don't think anyone on these boards are saying racism doesn't exist myself included. I just have a problem when people try to make it seem like all white people are racists when that's far from the truth. My opinion is that the older generation has more and that's a product of their upbringing, the current generation are waaaaaay more open minded and much less racist. Way more good people then bad people. Some areas (deep south) might have a closer balance of bad and good.. but places like Winnipeg where it's one of the most multi cultural places in Canada are at the opposite extreme.

So the Argos will be plenty good then
-
So why do they impose limits for outdoor gatherings if that is the case? Shouldn't Bomber games , Tinker town, outdoor festivals and everything else be open then? Sounds like she's trying to justify instead of admitting that it was not a smart idea.

Bring back Murder She Wrote.... with a dark twist where Jessica Fletcher secretly murdered everyone over the years! It's no coincidence that everywhere Jessica went someone dropped dead!

Winnipeg is a whole lot better (and the rest of the Canada the same). If we didn't have crappy weather in winter it would be a much easier sell for players to move up here permanently.
