  1. Do we have the money to pay off the refs?
  2. The team just didn't seem well prepared at all for the last 2 games. It did not feel or seem like a team that HAS been to the cup and has played in the big games, so many rookie mistakes and decisions and game planning. Super disappointing.
  3. I guess the issue is that they didn't inform him outright that they were planning to move on with him until he asked them. Haven't we heard a few similar stories to this over the last few seasons? Maybe also the courtesy of cutting him early so he can find work elsewhere? I wonder if the Riders will pick him up since they tend to overpay for over the hill veterans?
  4. Miller's Meats has a nice variety of sauces, rubs, and marinades that they rotate in and out throughout the year. I haven't gone in a few years but I believe Luxe's (the place where you can buy BBQ's and smokers) also had a large variety of sauces when I last went. I find that most Superstores/Sobeys/Safeway carry the same old stuff and have a very small section for "gourmet" or different BBQ sauces.
  5. I'm a fan of Kramdi, I have no issues if they keep pushing him since he has shown improvement over time and has made big time plays.
  6. The NFL NEEDS the Chiefs to go on... they need that Swiftie money and exposure.
  7. https://gothunderbirds.ca/news/2025/1/14/former-cfl-quarterback-and-head-coach-khari-jones-joins-ubc-football-staff.aspx Not sure if this was posted yet or not. Khari staying busy.
  8. Suitor has a massive man crush on Purifoy. I will be happy once he's out of the league so that Suitor doesn't bring him up every three plays.
  9. Could you see them signing him and placing him on IR until healthy and at that point they give him his old spot back? Use a scrub in the mean time until he is ready?
  10. Without Willie he would have half the amount of tackles/sacks. If Willie had any support from anyone else on the line his numbers would be much higher.
  11. What if Biggie signs a deal with a low base salary and more focused on bonuses for time played + stats. Would that be the only way we should bring him back? Or is he so shot that the team shouldn't even waste a spot for him on the roster even if he is paid little to nothing.
  12. Not at that point in time, no way in heck. At that point of his career he was significantly worse then a Kevin Glenn.
  13. Thomas should be the guy you bring in mid season after losing 2 - 3 guys in one game. I don't see the point of wasting time with him when even if it only taking 15% of the reps... give that play time to a young guy who may in a season or two actually produce.
  14. If Thomas isn't replaced after training camp then we have massively failed at recruiting. They can't find anyone who is young with any sort of upside that can replace him?
  15. Watch him win the job out of camp 😫
  16. Honestly as I was scrolling down and saw the top of this post I immediately thought "F*** Offffffffff" and thought that this was a troll job.
  17. Can we assume that we are moving on from Alexander?
  18. I'll have to say Eagles fans are probably the worst fans across any pro sports team in North America. The amount of videos where they sneak attack and physically assault people simply for wearing opoosing teams jerseys is ridiculous. It's at least as bad as the old Oakland Raiders fans. The worst Eagles fan was the one who ate the horse poop after they won the super bowl.
  19. That being said... with our current talent with Brady and "hopefully" Lawler.... I don't see why we can't have a safe gameplan that someone like Wilson could run where the ball gets into our star players hands and they make the big plays. Hand the damn ball off to Brady... if only they did this last Grey Cup
  20. Glenn was over rated, MBT might be over rated also. It's not hard to get nice stats when you have Charles Roberts and Milt Stegall doing all the leg work. Glenn was good at dumping the ball off, but faltered terribly if he had to put the team on his own back.
  21. Easily a guy that would be a "Kevin Glenn" back up kind of guy. He is/was better then Kevin Glenn ever was.
  22. They have Wilson and Strev coming off an injury. Dolegala also. I would be shocked if they spend any money on a back up this year.
  23. Wilson should be veteran insurance in case they can't find a proper lb'er during training camp. What I worry is that in training camp they do find someone who shows flashes and they end up cutting the new guy because the fear of moving on with some growing pains.
  24. The W/L is a deceiving stat for QB's sometimes... it's similar to the Mike Bishop 12-1 or whatever he was that one season. Darnold is a career back up and not a guy that is going to turn it around like a Baker Mayfield.
  25. Keep both, if the Lions could afford a plethora of receivers surely we can as well.
