  1. Max Halls stash + Elliotts confidence = 8 time back to back to back GC winners in summary legalize blow
  2. A semi legitimate excuse to meet the fellas at Hooters before and after
  3. Imagine thinking GC wins were the only metric for success, that would make Milt a flop of a nobody, and Khari only knew success with the Riders
  4. Yes particularly if we're talking about the GC parade everyone including Oshea seemed to be enjoying themselves, whether or not they made a big show of it. I for one couldn't stop grinning for weeks straight after our 2019 GC win.
  5. I guess I was just so distracted by that -77 ticat differential that nothing was sinking in haha It has got to be rough
  6. I also thought it was way off, then I noticed it's only tracking from 1954 onward Argos and Bombers both won 9 in that span, Als won 7, the most recent wins are included... I think it's all there Yeesh if being a Cats Stamps or Riders fan wasn't bad enough on it's own... those are some rough numbers in the big dance
  7. I wasn't quoting you, goof, I was quoting Speedflex and it was already clarified and sorted out. Not everything is about you. Keep up, read then post
  8. Totally, in fact Flex has already clarified and I even shot him a like in response, I think most of use are on the same page.
  9. My reply was purely in response to the notion O'Shea quote: "took in all the credit from the fans" If someone offers me credit for something and I say 'I couldn't have done it without these guys right here' did I take in all the credit? If "took in all the credit from the fans" is the same as deflected credit to his players staff and fans then carry on.
  10. The Bombers won 2 Grey Cups and Mike OShea humbly deflected credit to his players staff and fans, this is total BS You could barely get the guy to say a word about his MOCoach nominations when asked point blank ffs if you're gonna **** on the guy at least **** on him for his actual faults
  11. Couture was walking no matter what, he had the opportunity to head home and get a bag while playing for his fave coach Kelly Bates who became the OL coach in BC after coaching Couture in college. It was a perfect fit and a slamdunk no-brainer move on his part except for that whole never even getting a sniff of the cup since thing
  12. I remember an intrepid crew that grew restless with their existing football forum, so they left and made their own. Today it's the best football forum on the internet with free membership, multiple cash prizes, and <cough> insider info. I challenge anyone that thinks they could do better to go ahead and do it, we'd love to see it
  13. No kidding lol can you believe some of these rwords actually want Osh fired lmfao
  14. All-Star Damon Webb to CGY
  15. Young OL Cyrille Hogan-Saindon goes home to Quebec after 6th OL duties and a handful of starts in OTT, was a 2nd rounder
  16. Was Buck ever made available to the press in the weeks following the GC? I don't ever recall hearing a peep from him until the HC discussions started up
  17. You know what's crazy to me? Jake Thomas needs only 1 sack and 16 games played to exceed Stan Mikawos (Bomber HoFer) in each category. Crazier still if COVID didn't cancel 2020 he might have already pulled it off. Is Jake Thomas actually a future Bomber HoFer?
  18. Refs already ******* this up.
  19. Are you referring to his post-GC remarks about having earned the right to know why he didn't touch the ball more? He wasn't the only one wondering what happened. Stanley Bryant: “Very disappointing,” veteran O-lineman Stanley Bryant said. “Surprised. Because, I mean, you’ve got the MOP, MOC. That’s what you respect. But I’m not an OC.” 11 touches, I think 0 of them came when Wilson was in at QB, none when Zach came in with 91/2 fingers. We all wanted to ask Buck what the heck happened there. I read it as he wanted to do more for his team but wasn't able to, it was out of his hands.
  20. Now that would be surprising, but I'd call it welcome news. He's won games in the CFL, it can be argued teams 'figured him out' as time went on but he was young and thrust into action early and had some decent success with a good supporting cast. He'll have that here, too. 26 when camp opens, decent wheels and clearly not afraid to throw the ball for better or worse. Competition breeds success.
  21. From 3DN article , made me laugh The 30-year-old was especially effective during the team’s Grey Cup run in his second season with the club, rushing for 82 yards and a touchdown in the West Semi-Final against Calgary and throwing a touchdown pass in the championship game over Hamilton. During the ensuing celebration, he gained cult hero status in Winnipeg as he sported a fur coat and cowboy hat while consuming an inordinate amount of beer.
  22. Either we get him back with money we didn't have a week ago, or drive his price tag up even further forcing someone else to spend even more of their found money. Win win win
  23. ...and yet, the Seal was exclusively an Oshea thing, it can't go both ways
  24. Considering he made the phone call to release Woli, I'd call it taking ownership of the decision regardless
