Looking like theres the possibility we are going with more Americans on the field on offense given this signing. I'm also seeing a lot of weapons that can be used in a lot of ways. I don't really see the jump ball big body type of guy. But to be honest I don't really think that's a game Collaros excels in anyways. I can see many of these receivers purely getting open in different parts of the field. Get the ball out of zachs hands quickly and have teams keeping pace with us and having to tackle in space.

After signing Logan I'm fully expecting Lawler to be gone. It really looks like we're going in another direction with our offense. And quite frankly - I'm pretty excited.

Given our defensive schemes last year this sounds like he would fit in quite well. A guy that will steadily collapse the pocket. And like you said, if we can get a Cersena to play at the DT position, that pocket will collapse quickly.

It does seem weird to me. The only thing I can think of is that his injury isn't progressing and that Clercius has taken his spot. Dollars-wise it seems like a fine deal.

Salary wise it's going to be a bigger spend but I think Mitchell is a bit more dynamic. Underrated kick returner IMO. Really like this.

From a certain point in the season and onward he was very solid from my vantage point. I think without him we'd be filling a gigantic hole.

I don't see a problem with this. If they're good they're good. And some continue to get better.

Collaros has been pretty similar in all of the years he's been here IMO. The biggest problem is that every year we've given more money to our top guys, including himself, and not getting the return on the investment. Collaros is a good QB but he needs a great team around him if we're going to win it all (just like any QB). We've lost the last 3 Grey Cups to MBT/green Kelly, Fajardo, and Nick Arbuckle. Goes to show you, you don't need elite QB play to win a championship.

Zach has proven that he can put up a lot of numbers when the defenses aren't up to the task. Things tighten up in Grey Cup and he has thus far not been able to execute. He has always been the best when we can run a balanced attack. We can win Grey Cups with him but we need a much better supporting cast. And that could include a coaching change.

I'd normally say bring in competition but if we sign Castillo back you know he will be the guy given the track record of our head coach.

I think it's a combo of Zach and the Receivers. Surprisingly the offensive line did their job and Brady was Brady but Toronto schemed well for him. His one big play was all Brady. Demski was absolute dogshit. That leaves us with Lawler and Pokey as the only two that had any impact. But like was said in the other thread... Some plays were there and Zach under throwing receivers again. Defense had a lot to be desired... They aren't schemed to win games. Just not lose them. Overall, embarassing display. Right now, not looking forward to next year. Even if they get to the Cup I have zero faith.

Playcalling was fine when you consider how many players were stacked in the box on any given play. I've seen enough underthrown passes being intercepted in Grey Cups and overall bad QB play to put this on Zach. He's about cemented his legacy of winning 2 Grey cups despite his play.

VA will be traded. Likely for a 1st round pick. Don't see how they will want to handcuff themselves to that much salary at QB

They are clearly committed to Rourke. VA would have had to do something significant to even make it a question.

Question for those who understand the schemes. Does Milligan ever have the job of actually covering someone? Seems like he lives off of picking off passes on receivers that are being covered by someone else.

Probably would do equally as bad. Though it would have been interesting to see how Nathan's check downs to cottoy would have done the entire game
