  1. What I have learned about the East, so far, by team:

    Ottawa

At times, RedBlacks have not resembled an expansion team.....

    ...but not lately....

Henry can still suddenly morph into Hank, at a moment's notice....

Worst R and DB combo in league....

    Toronto

Burke still in a slump, revamped Argo D victimized nightly.... near bottom of league against run and the pass

Offence solely designed around YAC....doesn't work, with nobody.... who can create it.

    Montreal

Runaway winner of 2013 Blue Bomber Lookalike Contest.  All the ingredients are there:

...interfering ownership, lame duck HC, with the 5000 yd stare, hopeless OC and worst collection of QB's in league.

Not even re-runs of the Don Show.... is going to salvage this mess.

How many years did this franchise have...to prepare for AC's eventual departure?

    Hamilton:

    Still taking dumb penalties....

    Austin still popping gaskets...

One game does not a quarterback, make

Yeah the QB's are bad.....but that is one of the worst designed offenses I've seen in a while...

Agreed, hence that other thread going on here showing that people are giving Dinwiddie way too much of a pass for this nonsense.  It's been proven by Gary Crowton that If your OC is unprepared, unqualified, or clueless, your whole offense will go down the tube.

I think Dinwiddie gets cut some slack because he was never supposed to be the offensive coordinator. He was hired as a qb coach and he's brand spanking new to coaching, no way he should have been thrust into the OC role that quickly.

Or he really didn't want it, but there was nobody else?

  3.

There are those who are bitching about bitching about the play, but no one's actually bitching about the play in the first place.  Great play.  Great throw.  Got us the win.  Doesn't mean it was a good call.

How do you know Grigsby was Willy's first read on the play?  When exactly is sending your RB out to the flats a bad call?

    ...on a D-Lineman...

  4. Bombers at least, made more of an effort to get Grigsby some space.   The reality is, that we simply don't have enough push from the interior of the OL, to slam it inside.  We have been the worst team on 2nd and 2 or 3 or 4, and other short yd situations, for some time.  Grigsby needs some track, and can hit the gearshift....but is not going to find much too often in the A/B gaps.  Cotton might be more adept at moving a pile, but hard to sit down Grigsby, right now.....
