  1. As far as a national race, Bernie is the left wing version of Ross Perot. Agree that Biden would work in the VP slot. But all the oars must pull together. A coherent narrative, other than Trump, Trump, will help
  2. Yes, never underestimate that factor, when you have anyone wanting to be President
  3. Sarah Sanders hopes people remember her as being 'transparent and honest' https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/420961-sarah-sanders-she-hopes-people-remember-her-as-being While reading this....the gin went down my throat, up my nose, and ended up all over the floor
  4. Problem is.....if the Dems run any of the ole guard - Sanders, Clinton, or Biden, next time........they are dead in the water. Fresh face not only desirable but pretty necessary, at this point. Some one who cannot be accused of being part of any swamp- right or left, on the Hill.
  5. I think that the Dems need new blood up top, and lack a coherent and consistent message. Sorry Donald, that is the level and utmost best I can do for you.
  6. Donald Trump: "I own this" Chuck Schumer: "Ok" Watched the tape.....The Don stating that he would "be proud" to shut down the government - weeks before the holidays A lot of GOP House and Senate types must of been cringing, all the way though it. All their hard work, trying to paint Pelosi and Schumer as obstructionists.....dropped straight down the crapper. To say nothing of the spectacle of Trump, asking the cameras in, then mistaking the entire event for an Apprentice episode. Bluster, petulance and spinning like a top. Problem is that Pelosi and Schumer are not Trump organization flunkies Now, if the Republicans attempt to blame the Dems for any shutdown.....Dems will just run that tape in a continuous loop. Probably will do that, in any case.... Trump simply does not react well to criticism... He reacts even more more poorly, when it comes from a women (or for that matter, people of colour) Pelosi knows this, hence her post-meeting comments about "manhood" and "tinkle contest" She may really have the upper hand in pushing Trump's buttons, moving forward. As far as Pence.....couldn't decide if he was finding his inner zen, embarrassed, or just heavily medicated. Trump said after the cameras were turned off that he had a productive meeting with Schumer and Pelosi. 🙄
  7. Making America ******** Again
  8. Unfair. Your hatred for Trump is influencing your reaction to this..... Can't see any problem here.... given the Trump Administration's commonalities and shared philosophies.... with these particular nations
  9. Trump will just go to his ole default position and hire yet another FOX hack.
  10. Well, taking a top job in this administration....and avoiding getting tangled up in some form of illegality.....could be a tricky business. Plus you would have to shine Trump's boots, get his Cheetos, and praise Fearless Leader, at every opportunity. Besides already a growing number of books about this crap. You would also have to master regurgitating the lying, deflections and spinning, as well as the new linguistics......"Alternative facts, fake news, truth isn't truth, and what you see and hear is not happening."
  11. Trump's problem......at this point, it that no one of any real stature, wants to be his Chief of Staff. Be like diving straight into a mud hole.....or boarding a sinking ship.
  12. Chris Christie is a crooked, entitled blowhard. Good fit.
  13. Yes.....so far, this we are only talking about the payments and cover up for affairs with porn stars and Playboy bunnies. But that said.... your have the prosecutors from Southern District of New York, the most prestigious federal prosecutors’ office in the country...asserting publicly that Cohen acted in coordination with and at the direction of" Trump before the election in steering payments to silence Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal, about alleged affairs. Just no way they are going out on that limb, without corroborating evidence, already in the bag. (Cohen, Enquire publisher, Trump CEO co-operation, and all the stuff swept up in the raid on his home and office) This single prosecution does not include.......any other activities......like obstruction of justice, perjury, collusion, fraud, money laundering, influence peddling, kickbacks etc. How many of those could be considered impeachable offences? Wait for it.....
  14. Observed a while back.... that there eventually would be a "tar baby" effect for the Republicans, on this. It has taken much longer than I thought.....the willingness of senior Republicans in the House and Senate, to aid and abet Trump, while eating all his crap, has been astounding. But there are limits to everything - soon these guys will have to worry more about the fate of the party, and much less about Donald Trump
  15. https://thehill.com/policy/international/420427-kushner-advised-saudi-crown-prince-after-khashoggi-killing-report So you have Trump suggesting it was "rogue" killers.....almost a full week, before any statement from the Kingdom. Meanwhile, you have his son-in law, assisting the Prince with their spin.... Paid consultants couldn't do any better Uh, wait a minute....
  16. FOX is handling that quite nicely
  17. Rudy's job...
  18. Felonious behavior right up and down the line, with this administration. Mueller is using these court filings to put out just the framework and methodology (like the Russian indictments) of some of the myriad of illegal acts. Every time he does that, it becomes more difficult politically for the Republicans to pull any suppression acts, on his final report. They are now smelling what Robert Mueller is cooking.....and will be getting the full taste, in short order. There are a lot of shaky knees up on the Hill......and there should be.
  19. If you start targeting every Trump administration official who has lied to the FBI or Congress or the Senate......one will need a very large paddy wagon, indeed
  20. Rudy getting out front.... https://thehill.com/policy/national-security/420312-giuliani-mueller-accused-manafort-of-lying-about-trump ...because he knows things are about to get much worse.......
  21. As we know, stable geniuses are all in, when it comes to law breaking. Just a confidence, that a number of these ex-Trump administration types bring up allusions to being "dumb as a rock"
  22. Laughing at Trump.
  23. ....to say nothing of "Javanka" and that doofus Don Jr.
  24. Remember the good ole Russian money laundering bank https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2018-11-29/deutsche-bank-s-troubles-are-donald-trump-s-troubles The Democratic headed House Financial Services Committee, can start with the subpoenas in January. They will be able to subpoena Deutsche for banking records and other information regarding its relationship with the president, the Trump Organization and the Kushner family To say nothing about what Mueller already has on that score.... Back about 150 pages ago on this thread, I pointed out some rather curious relationships between Trump and Russian oligarchs, with Deutsche Bank as the go-between....
  25. Re: AtlanticRiderFan and wanna-b-fanboy One of the main jobs of a President.... is to bring together different people, with diverse viewpoints and unite them in common cause. At least Trump is accomplishing something.
