I know it'll never happen but I'd love to see a team in Saskatoon just to see the meltdown over divided loyalties. They could name the team Rough Riders to really make it interesting (plus it's been too long since the CFL had two teams with that name).

Agreed. The timing just doesn't make sense for it only to be about his contract & philosophy. They've known about his views for a long time so nothing new there. He also wouldn't have been the 1st GM to go into the final year of his contract without a new deal done so not a huge deal. Even if those 2 reasons are legit, together they don't add up to a firing, IMO, with one of the most important dates of the year coming up shortly.

He was cut on March 31st with a bonus due April 1st so it actually was that time sensitive. Now that more of the story has come out, I retract my statement about Toronto being in the same class as the Riders. It's just Foley just being Foley.

It was super underwhelming. It was average and predictable at best which is terrible for the biggest show of the year. There wasn't any real "Wrestlemania" moment for me, other than Taker retiring.
