Maybe in their experience but I would put money on them being in the minority. I've been working in this system for over 15 years and this is by far the most chaotic I have ever seen it. It's not so much what they are trying to do but how they are going about doing it. Their plans (or lack their of) seem to go out the window all the time. This seems to be the thought process: "Things aren't going as well as we thought they would? Ok, f**k it, let's double down by not only sticking with the plans that aren't working but speeding up the timeline for those changes, That should fix things... or least get the changes in place by election time so the fallout won't be truly felt until after the votes are in".

He already showed last week that he's more mobile than last season. It's never going to be something teams really have to plan around though.

But what about MOS wearing shorts? For me it's no different than DC's hat. If it starts affecting wins and losses, then I'll care, but until then, to each their own.

Their entire o line looks like trash tonight.

After reading this thread, I'm off to the Oak!

If you're referring to Davis, he was found by Calgary.

I'm not sure why this is being asked in a Ottawa/Sask thread but yes, the ex-Bomber is playing SAM for Edmonton. He signed with them last season and then briefly retired. Played with them in the pre-season game here but only made their PR coming out of camp.

Hopefully he's smart enough not to go after Charlie Roberts as RB coach.... as much as Charlie would enjoy it, that city is not a good fit for him!

1 - Hecht. 2 picks and removing Carter as a factor in the game. 2 - Harris and the O-line. For a new group, that some here said would be a step down from previous years, they opened some big holes and Harris took full advantage. Nastiness doesn't seem to be lacking either. 3 Exume. Looked very good on ST when it looked like that could be an area of concern. HH - Woli with the 2 Td's

The way he was rolling around, he looked like a fighter trying to get up after being KO'd.

I'm curious to know which half you were unaware of. The two that were with Edmonton last season or the two that signed as free agents (and you should have known about 1 of those 2). Either way, I'm not sure what 1 year deals have to do with things since all 4 just played or are playing in multiple seasons with the same team.

I got the sense there was also a lack of business knowledge as well. In the last part when they were questioning Divine about his cut and he explained that if he got them a million dollar deal, they would get 800k and he would get 200k. I believe it was GFK who replied f**k that, I want my million. Every business manager/agent is going to get a cut, so if those guys were expecting every cent to go to them, it's not a surprise that things went sideways. Trying to keep that many guys happy would be next to impossible and it eventually showed. Now whether or not Divine was taking a cut that was more than fair, is another story.

Finished it on Friday and also thoroughly enjoyed it. I knew a lot of it but there was still quite a bit of interesting stuff that I hadn't heard before. What they pulled off was amazing... so many artists signed to so many different labels. It wasn't surprising to see how they almost self-destructed but the fact that they are still going is pretty incredible.

Ameet Pall is the worst Bomber player to have never actually played. - Speedflex

Someone needs to clue them in...

This is an easy call, bomber site or not. They are going on the road against the best team in the East (low bar I know) and don't have some of their biggest name players. LaBatte could be out with what might be a long term injury. Elimimian and Arceneaux are still injured so they haven't even practices with their new team yet. The stuff you are talking about is fine for the overall season predictions thread but most of it doesn't apply to the week 1 match-up.

Yes. Technically, his first year with the Bisons was as RB/KR but he only carried the ball 20 times all season (he had 51 receptions). He officially moved to the slot in his 2nd year.
-
Agreed. Maybe it wasn't the right fit for him here and a change of scenery is what he needs. Look at Hardrick for example. Based on his time in Regina, he wasn't anything special but has flourished here and now he's a key part of our team.

The south, in general, didn't have much of a nationwide presence in hip hop until the Geto Boys (2 Live Crew would be the exception to this). Very influential. I've had "Mind playing tricks on me" running through my head all morning, especially Bill's verse. Still one of my favorites.

Maybe some leftover bitterness from getting canned.

You would be wrong. Geto Boys are legendary in hip hop and Bill stood out (for a couple of obvious reasons). This wasn't even the 1st time he died! If you've watched Office Space, you should be familiar with their most famous song, "Damn it feels good to be a gangsta".
