Speaking of... Sounds like his days in Detroit could be numbered. They had him doing some work at guard during their recent OTA's, seeing if he might fit better there. Based on their drafting an FA signings, he's pretty far down their depth chart, inside or outside. I'm sure other NFL teams will, at the very least, kick tires on him but it's something to watch any way.

I think this is part of the problem. He set such a high bar that a drop in play is going to be very noticeable and have people freaking out (myself included). After seeing how bad the Argos LT was, it made me back away from the ledge a bit. He's not the best in the game anymore and that's fine, because he's not the worst either.

It's the lack of arm strength that's holding him back. 😂

Dru Brown was a distraction and has a weak arm for requesting his release after not getting a chance to compete for the starting role. Punter will be cut if he misses a tackle again. Claimed refs were blowing calls when they were actually correct. Dinwiddie had no clue that an elbow touching the ground is down by contact, thought it was the same an putting your hand down to keep you up. Also didn't seem to know a player who is forced out of bounds is eligible to rejoin the play. He needs to take a look in the mirror and take some responsibility for where his team is at.

So in a perfect scenario? If you have all of that and aren't thriving as a QB, you may need to look for another line of work. We also don't have all of those things, at the moment. Our receiver depth isn't great and bringing Stan back for one more year has become an issue.

Not forgetting that at all. A good chunk of ZC's contract has already been paid (he got 200k in bonuses in January alone) so his remaining contract isn't that bad (base salary is 300k). Plus with BLM out long term, his pay won't go against the cap so now Hamilton will have room.

Talen wise no, but health wise he's probably in a better position. He doesn't need to be 2019 ZC, given how fairly mediocre the QB situation is across the league. I'd take him over Ford or Dolega in a heartbeat.
