Yeah why pay for the best WR in the league when you can get a beat up Schoen for 5 games at half the price? That's money well spent right there!

Even if he fully tore it after he came back, they still let him finish the game knowing it was re-injured. By their own admission, he got hurt again early in the LDC so why was he out still there?

His agent only had 2 brief conversations with them during the off-season. They wanted to let the market determine his value rather than coming to an early agreement, Bombers shut down his side business working in grassroots football in the city. Said it wasn't that they didn't want him doing it but they wanted it to be under their organization so his work permit got cancelled.

I don't think that Osh even listened to what Milt said. Osh ranted about Milt not considering ZC's family when he made his comments but that's exactly what Milt was doing. Milt said if that was his son, he'd never let him see the field again. He wasn't talking about Zach the football player, he was talking about Zach the person.

Milt isn't saying anything that fans haven't been saying for years. He's not making any call as he has no say in anything - just voicing his opinion which is his job as a panelist. People don't need to know all the details to know that repeated head trauma is not good and ZC has had more than his fair share.

Whichever he chooses. He played 6 seasons in each city and statistically, his best seasons were in BC. But if you look at what his accolades, Winnipeg has the edge so there's a good argument for both. He had more all-star seasons with BC but more team success & league awards here. BC: 1 Grey Cup, 1 MODP, 4x All CFL team Wpg: 2 Grey Cups, 2 MODP's, 2x All CFL team.

It's not exactly a recipe for success now so what is there to lose? I wouldn't be making changes after a single game though...i would give them a few games together to how the new group does.

That's one of the things they should/could do but I have zero faith MOS will do that.

You can partially tear a ligament, it doesn't have to be a full blown tear. He came back with a brace hoping to mitigate any further damage but clearly that didn't happen. He didn't re-injure himself on the 2 point convert either - it happened earlier in the game and he just gutted it out. The 2 point convert was just a visible display of how hurt he was.

And also missed most of last year for the exact same injury.

Feel terrible for Schoen and whoever made the call to play him with that injury should feel terrible as well. Schoen's career shouldn't be the only down the drain - that's inexcusable.

At minimum... so many guys way more deserving than Jake. I wouldn't even put him in the WFC HOF which is way less exclusive than the ROH.

You can find tailgating all over the place near the stadium. If you are taking rapid transit to the game, you may want to head over to the parking lots near University & Dysart.
