  1. I think the whole stadium was thinking and saying the same thing.
  2. http://www.bluebombers.com/video/index/id/93839 Very informative. I especially like when he went on to discribe the Neg list draft which I had no idea occured, I wont explain it since he does it way better than I every could.
  3. The thing with Calgary is it's most likely 80% chance one of there QB's get taken so won't matter which imports are protected.
  4. They can sign at anytime too right. Don't have to wait till the Feb. 15. After 2007 season that's how we almost got Getzlaf.
  5. In the first round they are going to want to find starting capable Canadians that's why I really think they take Poblah. They are going to start in all likely hood 4 Canadians on the o-line probably a receiver and one on defense. Looking at all the rosters one of the more favourable Canadians to start at WR is Kito Poblah so I really think they draft him over a back up DT.
  6. Lets just say this the second Canadian we lose won't be of much value. It is a struggle to see who it will be.
  7. Yeah feel like they will try to get there starting O-line through the draft. The second Non-Import is a total crap shoot.
  8. B.C. 9. Thought it would be fun to do some expansion draft predictions. So put you predictions in for who will be selected from each team below. I'll put mine up little later.
  10. It's acceptable to be in the first level. Injuries can happen but anything over that no excuse for.
  11. To be fair Bluto the atmosphere at the Skydome during his playing career would not warrant anyone thinking there should be a team in downtown Toronto.
  12. I would take Burris if they could also bring in a guy that would be ready in 1 or 2 years.
  13. Brock Jensen is the QB I want here desperately all the kid does is win.
  14. I assume he will be the assistant HC too
  15. Duane Ford has also speculated that there might be some ridiculous contracts signed then renegotiated after later to a lower salary, to make their contracts not favourable to Ottawa.
  16. Yes, I agree with your first 2 sentences hence I liked what you had to say.The only guy I know who guided his football team from birth to a championship was Paul Brown of the Cleveland Browns in the late 1940's in the All American Football Conference. He coached the Browns before they joined the NFL in that league from 1946 to 49 where he won at least one championship. Then he won a number of NFL championships in the 1950's with that Browns team when the 2 leagues merged so it's extremely, extremely, extremely rare. Campbell is basically going there to do the work to set the Ottawa team up to eventually get fired in 3 or 4 years if he's lucky. Tom Landry and Hank Stram also did it. Don Matthews also did too with Baltimore but had deck stacked in his favour.
  17. You can say that about any hire. Could have 20 years HC experience they don't automatically win just because they have been there before.
  18. he may not have HC experience but when is the last time this club hired a coach who actually played in this league?
  19. Winnipeg maybe the only city ever have a NHL coach and CFL coach who are from North Bay!
  20. or you can get it here http://www.bluebombers.com/live-press-conference
  21. Can watch announcement live here. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/football/bombers/Bombers-to-make-major-announcement-234397561.html
  22. I think they thought they could keep it a secret till the announcement that if they had to move him from the hotel to the stadium that it would get out. Also probably easier to allow fans to come watch at a hotel than the stadium media room.
