Expansion Draft Discussion
I would protect Greaves, Sorensen, Palardy, C. Muamba, Watson, and H. Muamba

Bryant Turner Injury
Ok so start him

Bryant Turner Injury
Well we could conceivably take off Etienne or Kohlert as Woods would then be filling a backup receiver role. But I agree, probably won't shake down that way.

You'd leave Greaves unprotected? Also, pretty sure we can only protect 6, not 7. And what has Matt Vonk done to be considered a "legit NI OL", in your eyes?

Pontbriand, Renaud, H. Muamba, Etienne, Labbe, and Kowalczuk are all in their final year. There are probably more but those 6 are for sure.

Ticats Vs Eskies
Worst defence in the league doesn't appear willing to relinquish that title

Who Has The Best Offensive Line?
Tate injured again last night, I don't think Hufnagel is going to be letting Glenn go anytime soon.

Are The Bomber Coaches Aware Of The New Timeout Rules?
They're definitely aware, I heard Tim Burke mention it on the radio before the season started as one of the rule changes that he really liked.

Hate to say it but the Riders look great

Kirk Penton @PentonKirk 4m In case you missed it this morning, Terrence Edwards expected to miss a week or two with a shoulder injury. #Bombers

Buck Pierce......should Goltz Start?
Based on what? Is three a magical number that determines a QB is ready? Have you done research to suggest 3 years is the maximum amount of time it should take a QB to develop? Tate got five years! Besides, it's more like 2.5 years, and even that was as the #3 or #4 QB. Not getting a whole lot of reps. Like I said, Pierce will go down, Goltz will get his chance. Why rush it? How has that worked out for us in the past?

Bryant Turner Injury
I think he's still in Montreal but he tweeted this: Bryant Turner Jr. @Blitz_Turner 9h Gods got me! Thanks for the prayers. #goblue side note the defense was dang near perfect tonight! Love ya

Buck Pierce......should Goltz Start?
Goltz just isn't ready to take the job yet, IMO. Might as well let him get some good time in as the backup before Pierce is inevitably injured again and Goltz is thrown into the fire. For all the people clamouring to sit or cut Pierce, just remember who you're talking about... Goltz IS going to get his shot this year. It's just a matter of when, and I prefer to keep him on the bench just a little longer.

Buck Pierce......should Goltz Start?
Pierce is unfotunately still the best option we have.

Buck Pierce......should Goltz Start?
If Elliott was here we'd be 0-2.

Tackles can be read any way you want. Doesn't mean he was good but it also doesn't mean he was bad. Gotta look at it on a play-by-play basis to truly know. Chip Cox racks up big tackle numbers at SAM every year and he's one of the best there is.

Who Has The Best Offensive Line?
Historically maybe, but watching the games of week 1 shows that is not the case at all this year.

Riders Release Greg Carr
Four rookies made the roster out of training camp, that's about as little turnover as you will ever see in the CFL. But I wouldn't expect you to actually, you know, look at facts or anything.

Devine intervention?

Everyone is saying that but I'm not sure I agree. The Als are gearing up against the run and daring the Bombers to pass it. So to me, trying to run it is a fool's errand. They need to execute in the passing game because that's where the opportunities will be. Until they can execute the passing game, it will be the same old story every week.

A win would change a lot of people's minds about this team. A loss will make for an ugly week in Winnipeg.

Big difference in responsibilities between a corner in the NFL and a halfback in the CFL. All CFL halfbacks who start the whole season (or close to it) rack up big tackle numbers. It can't really be avoided.

Who Has The Best Offensive Line?
The thing about BC's o-line is that their tackles are pretty good, but their interior is just terrible. Edmonton is just plain bad across the line.
