There's a chance Aaron Kelly could play for Doug Pierce this weekend. #Bombers

#Bombers still haven't decided on a quarterback. They'll see how Max Hall's hand is in the morning. Goltz got nearly all reps.

Looked like James Green was going to be out for a long time, but it was just a bruise. He practised today. #Bombers
I'm sure that's not far off... except for Poblah. Not much use for a receiver who can't seem to catch the ball right now.
If Denmark and Poblah are both useless... at least Poblah's got the passport, and we maybe look at Bo Smith at safety.
Or an american-made saw horse to replace Morley/Swiston.
I wouldn't say Denmark is useless. He is second in receiving on the team. Now say what you will about the team's receiver situation, but until there is a better option, Denmark keeps his job. I'd say Pierce has to make an impact in this game or it will be him losing his job to Kelly or MSW.
Are you guys kidding? He will be signing in the NFL. The whole point of getting out of the contract was to get to the NFL, not because he hated the Ticats.
Some updates courtesy of Kirk Penton:
- Max Hall throwing passes, Goltz still getting most first-team reps
- Washington, Wild, Jovon Johnson all back practicing today
- First team receivers: Pierce, Denmark, Edwards, Watson, Etienne
- Greg Peach is there practicing in uniform (#90)
IMO, Khari was a good QB who was able to foster some uncommon chemistry with great receivers.
I don't buy that he was mediocre and certainly not that his stats were "artificially inflated", whatever that means. He was good, and his receivers were great.
I like this signing if he is healthy enough to play. He is an upgrade on Freddie Harris and he will also push Kenny Mainor. It doesn't look great because the DL is the least of our concerns right now, but he will make a strong position even stronger. Just because we need DBs and OL doesn't mean we should be passing up on opportunities for better players in other areas when they arise.
According to CJOB. Look out Kenny Mainor? Or maybe just looking to add to the rotation. Hall-Mainor-Peach isn't a bad DE rotation...

Well they're trying Andre Douglas out, maybe he'll be better. He was pretty good in 2010, maybe not as good in 2011.
We also still have Aderious Simmons on the PR.
Our strategy for improving the OL has literally been "Do nothing and hope they get better."
Meanwhile Calgary had one of the better OL's last year and still had two new starters this year, who are even better than the old starters. Something wrong with that picture
Wow, another hammie for Washington... good thing Hef's gone right? (sorry, had to do it.)
Is Sears ever coming back?
How we didn't hire a Strength and Conditioning coach in the off-seson is beyond me...
What are you talking about? Alain Couture serves that role with the Bombers.
"Couture is also a Registered Massage Therapist through the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association"
Swiston got yanked in favour of Morley last week. Apparently he had two brutal whiffs on pass blocks and was taken out of the game.
Really? I didn't notice. That game put me to sleep halfway through
Kinda funny how Morley is healthy for 4 years straight then suddenly gets injured when he's not even playing.
As for the LB's, I'm sure Wild will play. But at training camp, I thought Sheffield looked like our best new LB prospect, I think he may still factor in at some point.
