I'm sure that's not far off... except for Poblah. Not much use for a receiver who can't seem to catch the ball right now. If Denmark and Poblah are both useless... at least Poblah's got the passport, and we maybe look at Bo Smith at safety. Or an american-made saw horse to replace Morley/Swiston. I wouldn't say Denmark is useless. He is second in receiving on the team. Now say what you will about the team's receiver situation, but until there is a better option, Denmark keeps his job. I'd say Pierce has to make an impact in this game or it will be him losing his job to Kelly or MSW.

IMO, Khari was a good QB who was able to foster some uncommon chemistry with great receivers. I don't buy that he was mediocre and certainly not that his stats were "artificially inflated", whatever that means. He was good, and his receivers were great.

I like this signing if he is healthy enough to play. He is an upgrade on Freddie Harris and he will also push Kenny Mainor. It doesn't look great because the DL is the least of our concerns right now, but he will make a strong position even stronger. Just because we need DBs and OL doesn't mean we should be passing up on opportunities for better players in other areas when they arise.

He is injured a lot but he did get into 15 games for you guys last season.

Well they're trying Andre Douglas out, maybe he'll be better. He was pretty good in 2010, maybe not as good in 2011. We also still have Aderious Simmons on the PR.

Our strategy for improving the OL has literally been "Do nothing and hope they get better." Meanwhile Calgary had one of the better OL's last year and still had two new starters this year, who are even better than the old starters. Something wrong with that picture

Swiston got yanked in favour of Morley last week. Apparently he had two brutal whiffs on pass blocks and was taken out of the game. Really? I didn't notice. That game put me to sleep halfway through

Kinda funny how Morley is healthy for 4 years straight then suddenly gets injured when he's not even playing. As for the LB's, I'm sure Wild will play. But at training camp, I thought Sheffield looked like our best new LB prospect, I think he may still factor in at some point.
