  1. I mean, you think you know, but you really don't. I know you are in the "Wrestling world", but the fact is you don't actually know what goes on behind the scenes in WWE. I'm sure you've heard certain things, but you don't know the conversations between management, you really don't. Everything you're saying has been written by the so-called "insiders" before, it's nothing new to me. And sometimes those guys are proven to be woefully incorrect when they try to tell us what's happening or going to happen. And I'm certainly not saying they listen to who the fans want to be "pushed." They listen to who the fans THINK is being pushed, and they use that to their advantage.
  2. This is incorrect. I am not an "angry fan". And no, that is also not the "new kayfabe". But nice try. I know you're not an angry fan but I see the same thing everywhere. And yes, it is the new kayfabe. It is blatantly obvious that they listen to the fans talking about who is getting pushed, held back, etc. and they play off that. It is incredibly obvious. Hunter even talks about it in the Stone Cold podcast. They are working the fans and the fans don't get it yet.
  3. I'm still just hoping for one of Stafford or Frolik. Not sure which is better for the team.
  4. I love the angry fan refrain "Reigns is the chosen one." He clearly is not. Notice how he does not have the championship and didn't even win Money in the Bank. He got used by WWE to push Rollins over. I don't know why some fans still don't get that. The plan all along was to make it look like they're pushing Reigns and then pull the switch and have it all be about Rollins in reality. The "new kayfabe" is messing with fans through these "locker room stories" that we always hear about.... Vince loves Reigns, Vince is holding back whoever, etc. Fans think they know the real deal behind everything but they totally don't get that they're just playing into the "new kayfabe". I find it so funny that the hardcore fans don't realize this.
  5. I don't think there's any cause to be concerned unless he actually re-injures it. Some pain and swelling is still normal, remember he is only about 8 months off the injury. Seems like he's right on track to me.
  6. We ended up getting Jimmy Lodge, JC Lipon, Jan Kostalek and Tucker Poolman in that trade. 4 solid prospects. It's not like we would have won the Cup if Oduya was here. I just don't understand the thought process of some fans.
  7. Ed Belfour? Stanley Cup, Calder Trophy, 6 time all star, 2 time Vezina, 4 time William M Jennings Trophy...
  8. What! The Miz is great, you're mistaken. Great on the mic, great in the ring. Big Show is a joke either way.
  9. Pretty incredible run. In a league where a team is hard pressed to find one superstar, the Blackhawks have managed to gather at least 3 legitimately top tier players. They built the team around the right guys.
  10. There aren't too many true heels these days. The Authority, Seth Rollins, and Sheamus really seem like the only guys with enough bad charisma to really piss off the crowd. Maybe The Miz too. Big Show gets booed but I'm pretty sure the crowd legitimately just hates him. Seems like the crowd is split down the middle for everyone else.
  11. Eight beers in 1 hr 40 mins is a pretty solid feat. It's harder than it sounds. i suppose in thinking about it the stop and go of shot after shot would be something, vs say shotgunning or just chugging back a full beer non stop representing 12 shots in that less then minute. I guess in my head im trying to divide it up and it'd be 4 beers roughly in 50 mins. I might try this challenge, anyone know where to get cheap plastic shot glasses in bulk? Dude just use the same shot glass 100 times!
  12. Not really. Both are converted DL with one training camp under their belts. Griffiths was with the Argos for last year's TC. Everett being a 6th round pick doesn't mean a whole lot.
  13. The actual number is 75 right now though. Non counters will become counters when the season begins.
  14. We are discussing old-timey wrestlers. Oh! I always liked Rick Rude.
  15. Wtf is going on in here?
  16. Ya, I don't think this storyline is over.
  17. @Wpg_BlueBombers: #Bombers release six: LB Sammy Brown DB Patrick Hall WR Lavasier Tuinei OL Quinn Everett WR Ezra Millington DB Dan West
  18. Everyone looks good when you put them in the ring with JOOOOOOOOOOOOOHN CENA!!!!!
  19. This regime seems to like waiting til the last minute to announce stuff like player cuts, coaching decisions, etc. I don't see the benefit and selfishly I wish they would announce things quicker but to say they are indecisive because of it seems like a bit of a stretch.
  20. I'm still not sure about BC. They have all the ingredients for a disastrous year: Head coach who has been away from the CFL for decades Chronically injured QB No Canadian depth on the OL But they also still have Wally Buono and a great defence. So we'll see. All I know is someone has to finish last in the West and it's still not clear who that's going to be.
  21. That was about -20 to -25 with the windchill. Maybe got a little colder as the game went on.
  22. Imagine that, you're not a fan of an evaluation that basically tears apart your entire bias towards Marve. And this number you came up with? What is the point of that? It honestly means nothing. It means that Marve is effective at moving the offense. No. It doesn't. In your mind, maybe. In reality, not even close to what it means. It is a means of measuring effectiveness, absolutely. The more yardage a QB can muster, the better he stands a chance at winning the game. Look at the sample size. Your stats are meaningless and totally non-predictive. I'm all for breaking down stats and looking at them, I think it's fun, but trying to draw the broad conclusions that you are is just foolish. You're pointing at a comparison of 12 plays per QB and trying to tell everyone it means something. It doesn't.
  23. First off, this is not an evaluation, merely a statistical breakdown of the offensive drives. I would advise against putting too much faith in any of these numbers. There are a lot of factors to consider, such as supporting cast, opposing defence, and playcalling. I definitely wouldn't evaluate the effectiveness of a QB based on my numbers or yours. I just thought it would be interesting to look at. Misleading numbers are misleading, that's all I'm saying. I hope you realize that yours are just as misleading, that's all I'm saying.
  24. Thanks, good contribution, the site would die without you.
