It was very unusual. I can't recall ever seeing a #4 QB going in second in a pre-season game.

Franklin looked damn good running their offence against Calgary. I thought EDM might have some trouble in their receiving corps this season but it looks like they have a couple studs in Zylstra and D'haquille Williams. This will be a good test for our secondary. Kinda surprised that Reilly won't be playing, though. I still have my doubts about Edmonton. I'm not sold on their OL, running game, or secondary.

Makes me question why we brought in such an inexperienced prospect if we weren't willing to put in some measure of time to allow him to improve. What were we expecting? That he would actually be quick with his decision-making after throwing the ball 10 times per game in college? I don't know. I've been really underwhelmed with our QB scouting since Walters took over. I don't see the point in bringing in long-shot oddball QBs like Robert Marve and Apodaca. And clearly we haven't been getting results out of it because none of them have stuck and all our current QBs have come from other teams.

It doesn't help when you have supposedly charitable Muslim groups like IRFAN-Canada operating with links to known terrorist groups.

The player/agent makes the call. They can say "We will not waive the NMC if the acquiring team does not honour it after they have acquired the player." Or they can waive it altogether. If it was fully in the acquiring team's control, they would never honour it.

I understand why you would want to expose Enstrom. What I don't understand is why you would go through the trouble of getting him to waive his NMC then making a deal with Vegas not to select him. Why wouldn't you just skip the Enstrom NMC business, protect 7-3-1 and make a deal with Vegas not to select Myers?

Some do, some don't. Some white people speak out against white supremacy, some don't. I don't expect either group to do so because it's ridiculous to suggest that someone has responsibility to act for or against a cause specifically based on their race, religion, or anything else.

I've flown Air Transat direct to Cancun. I found the experience to be pretty decent. Certainly better than Sunwing.

What scares me about Lankford is that he had hands problems in Saskatchewan... and first thing he does here is bobble a punt. I don't see that issue going away. Could be a decent depth player but that kinda stuff costs games.

I like Roberson but Flanders is just way too good to cut. He would start for Saskatchewan IMO and maybe a couple other teams. He is a legit stud RB and to be honest I feel kinda bad for him being stuck behind Harris.
