The economy has changed and people who can't adapt are trying to turn back the clock. The economy is significantly stronger after eight years of a democrat in the White House than it was when Bush left. What the Republicans are very good at is getting everybody angry. Every speech was about how much America sucks, and only they can fix it. These guys who lost their jobs buy it and vote for a Republican, who in turn will break the unions and bring the wages down of the few manufacturing jobs that are left.
