He mentions Westerman by his number right before he made that comment. Said he was "doing all that stuff", which I assume is a reference to him being dirty, so it makes sense that's who he was directing that shot at. He was mostly right too. He was showing us, and Westerman can be a dirty player.

I don't know what to think of Maata. He's kind of had the same career arc as Trouba in that he looked great as a rookie, but has regressed a little bit since. He was actually a healthy scratch at one point last season. He's also becoming a health concern. I still think he can be very good though if he can sort his health/injury issues.

Lots of people thought we'd have to lower our expectations when we traded Kane too.

I agree we this. Is there such a thing as a slow db? Certainly nobody who couldn't outrun a guy like Fantuz or Lewis.

I think it was Derek Taylor's stat, but I read when Mitchell is under pressure his completion % drops by 31%. If we can somehow find a way to get to him we can win this game.

Certainly a strong possibility. Also factor in cap penalties, signing bonuses paid to retirees, and the salaries for Best & Labatte's replacements, and a lot of those saving could be gone.

It's a really tight race for biggest circus this year. Signing a nazi might have sealed the deal for the Riders though.

Not really. I think Flanders will be just as good as Harris running the ball. My only concern is if his blocking and blitz pickup will be good enough.
