If we're going to get nostalgic for old personnel guys, I'd take him over Mack any day. Neither one should ever have full control over a franchise though.

He wasn't as bad as some people think, but he certainly wasn't as good as you think he was. He found some high end guys, but the garbage fire that was the "talent" on that 2013 team shows that he didn't find nearly enough of it. With no role in putting the team together, I'd consider taking him back as a scout too, although he's old as **** now. I'd probably rather have Moll.

It's weird that receivers have been so hard for us to find, when they're supposed to be the easiest to find, yet we can't seem to miss on the dbs we bring in.

I'll give you Bagg. I think Getzlaf hit his best before date a few seasons ago. Sinopoli, Gore, Bagg, & Fantuz are the only Canadian receivers who are more than ratio fillers imo.

I can't imagine there's any way this was related to the salary he was making. It's not like he was a bigger name than any other young qb that comes into the league. Going into next season with only three qbs seems like a terrible idea.

They just need to stick to it. Kill the feed completely after 90 seconds. I want obvious blown calls to be fixed. IMO that's what replay should be for. The ones where they have to study it in slo-mo for 15 minutes are what we need to get rid of.

Yeah, three years is my threshold for giving rookies a chance before declaring them a bust (with the obvious exceptions of getting cut, dying, etc). I would have liked to see him play at least a small role in the offense this year though, so he's definitely behind where I hoped he would.

Why would the Riders want Carter? The one position they're actually good at is receiver.
