the biggest thing, to me, is you don't let a punk kid start dictating your line-up......I want a kid that age who's so happy to be in the NHL, he'd be willing to fill water bottles just to be on the team. Not someone who's overly concerned about which side D he's playing.......

hey, I'm bitter enough that I was glad to see Messam get hurt. When we were down a ton at the half, 17to85 and I were saying "time for someone to get a hold of BLM and twist hard..." If you can't win, hurt someone....I am very bitter and jaded after all the years of embarrassing losing....

Who brought the players in?

We went in that club one time, I think....eh? The Canada Day event one time? It wasn't as bad as I'd been led to believe, but that whole area is pretty sketch...

Calgary is ******* good....a class of their own......but I think we at least planted a seed now. One thing I've been curious about all through the win streak is "How is this team going to respond when they eventually do lose a game?" We've said for a long time, that this is a team of momentum. When good things happen, they can rally for a long time. When bad things happen, they can really steamroll downhill in a hurry. So, they lost to the Stamps....do they spiral into a loss cycle now? Or do they pick themselves back up and stomp the Esks at home next weekend?

2:30 this morning, an as-yet-unnamed Stampeders player was at a club called Marquee (used to be The Back Alley, which was "affectionately" known as Crack Alley...for good reason...) and was shot and killed outside. No further details at this time...
