  1. Doesn't have to be another Canadian to play tackle. Find a Canadian Guard, kick out Daniels or whoever to Tackle...
  2. Somewhere around the 20th/21st would be best for the draft, I reckon... Lots of time...
  3. It's stupid because **** everyone else but us...
  4. http://www.bluebombers.com/2016/06/01/196252/ Neufeld is close to returning, but Adams is uncertain for the first preseason game next week. In Neufeld’s absence, former B.C. Lion/Saskatchewan Roughrider Jermarcus Hardrick has been taking a lot of reps with the No. 1 offence at right tackle. Receiver Gerrard Sheppard and LB Kyle Knox, two newcomers trying to make an impression, are both close to returning to work. The bumps and bruises that have kept Knox from practicing has taken away some of the momentum he had gathered with an impressive rookie camp last week. “Kyle Knox is right there around the corner ready to go,” said O’Shea. “He’s an exciting player we want to get out there and another of those guys playing linebacker that we think can play for us.”
  5. I wanna see him back at his natural spot at RT and see if he can 1) Stay healthy, and 2) Play as well as they think he can in that position...
  6. I still think Neufeld is a pretty good OL when he's healthy, but it *seems* like he just can't stay healthy...
  7. The kid is a pure athlete, no question....but as a football player? I'm not sure. The physical attributes are so teasing to any football club..."if we could just teach him to be a football player!!"
  8. He was pretty skinny (typical receiver size) last year at our camp. Woulda had to pack on a LOT of weight to play DE, I think...
  9. Doesn't change the fact that Neufeld is hurt yet again...anyone else, not an issue....with him, it's another in a long list....
  10. Neufeld with lower body injury but MOS says "expected back before the end of camp".....Cripes. If it's not one thing, it's another with Neufeld...just can't ever be 100% healthy...
  11. Darvin Adams went down in a heap after making a nice grab...hasn't returned to the field since.
  12. I saw a tweet that Pat Neufeld has been out the last couple days and I believe Johnny Adams (...or is it Johnny Patrick...?) as well. Other than that, sounds like a whole lotta teaching going on...
  13. ^^ I've held a very serious and bitter grudge over this for the last year....
  14. May 31, 2011.........one of the greatest days ever..... Time to celebrate with a Half Pints and some Guess Who tunes...
  15. Fortunately, not true...... Bowman still drops as many as he catches. It's just that every second passing play is to him. One of the most over rated guys in the league.
  16. It somehow manages to make the CFL season even more fun by giving you additional reason to follow every team (to see how your players are doing), but honestly the most fun thing is the draft itself. It's a lot of fun to go back and forth about picks. The only downside is listening to Mike tell everyone how he can't believe Ottawa LB recruit ____________ _____________ outta NCAA Div 6 was still available in the 9th round of the draft (ERMAGHERD YER GERS!!11!!!)
  17. Yeah, they weren't sure that they were going to be running this year, but got the go-ahead just recently. I'm definitely in for one this year, if we can get people actually committed to it. People who will actually show up for the draft and stick around all season, too...
  18. Last night I fired up a DVD of a game from late October 2002 (Bombers vs TiCats), and while I'm not comparing players-to-players, I saw stuff from a Milt/AB3 receiving corps (with help from Drover, Howell, Stoddard) and a power-back Mike Sellers pounding the Hammy line into submission, that made me dream of what Dressler/Smith (with help from Kohlert, Adams, etc) and a power back Andrew Harris could do to teams... Of course, the OC that year was Lapo.....
  19. Milt had a couple NFL goes, and even sat out TC one time over a contract dispute. We tend to deify Milt around here (...with good reason. That 2002 season...seriously...) but he was the kind of ******* who would have LOVED a guy like Jonathan Hardaway as his agent.
  20. I'm still hopeful that #4 can be parlayed into a quality D man who can be a leader out there...
  21. Because I'm a 104 year old man.....was playing this on my show this afternoon, and is the kind of stuff I dig more the older I get....
  22. Edm has plenty of good D prospects. They need a ready-now D stud.....

  24. Regardless of any online bellowing, if they really want to do something "for the good of the league", they'll go 0-18, Jones' shine disappears and he becomes the second-coming of Mike Kelly, and sets the franchise back a decade. Get rid of all the fair-weather *fans* they have over there (most), and we can all enjoy the season a little more with the peace and quiet that comes from those guys not screaming to the whole world "DON'T YOU SEE HOW GREAT WE ARE? TELL US HOW GREAT WE ARE! DON'T YOU LIKE WATERMELONS????"
