  1. Cole dinged up and likely to stick around and rehab with the team according to Twitter.
  2. I've been watching a lotta 2002/2003 games on DVD lately..........
  3. 3 years at 5m per, I'm all in on Andrew Ladd as a 2nd or 3rd line center with no letter.....
  4. Kid says in his Training Camp Journal that he once at 15 chicken breasts in a sitting at Virginia on a dare......I threw up a little just thinking about it....
  5. So, Ed Tait talks to MOS about playing against Walby: "I was standing around a pile and I just get blasted from behind...I get splashed by Bluto. He then helps me up and says, 'Sorry, a guy pushed me.' I watched film..He just ran up, knocked me down and jumped on me. But... I love the guy. He's fun to be around."
  6. The thing we don't know, based on tweets alone, is if Willy's throwing poorly, or if receivers are running wrong routes, or what. I suppose, though, it shows the offense is not in sync yet, and that may be troubling.....
  7. #AlsMTL' centre @dominicpicard has announced his retirement. #CFL #LCF via @HerbZurkowsky1 I thought this was interesting, because Picard was saying that last year's poor play was about the Bombers and not his declining skills. A quick retirement would tend to suggest otherwise. At any rate, thanks for some great years as a Bombers player....congrats on retirement, Angry Frenchman...
  8. Scott Billeck ‏@ScottBilleck 12m12 minutes ago Drew Willy offering up gifts again today, with Macho Harris the latest beneficiary of an errant throw. Last play of the first session. This seems somewhat concerning. Haven't heard a lot of really good things about Willy throughout camp......
  9. So I just woke up not that long ago, am only on my first cup of coffee, and I saw this: Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming Rush end Trent Corney, #Bombers top 2016 draft pick, just broke Stanley Bryant's ankles with a speed move off the edge. #hyperbole #noinjury Had to read it a couple times, 'cause my heart skipped a beat......holy hell....
  10. There was an article on him a few days ago. He says all off-season was rehab, and he missed the offensive mini-camp remember, so this has been the first real football he's played in awhile. There's going to be some growing pains getting back into game shape again. I'm willing to give it time, 'cause he's got the Want-To, and all the physical tools are there...
  11. It's a neat thing they're doing, for sure. They're announcing one at every home game this year, then there'll be one per year, each year after. Looking forward to seeing (debating) the selections going forward!
  12. I was curious about this, too....if he's not ready to step in and play right off the hop, then I don't know if it's worth it...
  13. I'm awfully tempted to.....worst case scenario, next year is a draft where we miss out on a dynamo and JSJ bolts for the NFL and stays as soon as he's able. Best case scenario, we win the GC this year and have a late pick anyhow, and JSJ stays here for years and years......
  14. Hey I like Internet speak because at least it's on purpose. What I can't stand are uneducated types who are near-illiterate...
  15. Welcome to the internet!
  16. Hey greaves is far from awful. He's a quality NI Guard. But Mike is right... We essentially traded Greaves for Couture and that's a more than fair trade.
  17. I hate to say it, but I wouldn't mind a guy like Chris Greaves, right about now...
  18. Doesn't have to be another Canadian to play tackle. Find a Canadian Guard, kick out Daniels or whoever to Tackle...
  19. Somewhere around the 20th/21st would be best for the draft, I reckon... Lots of time...
  20. It's stupid because **** everyone else but us...
  21. http://www.bluebombers.com/2016/06/01/196252/ Neufeld is close to returning, but Adams is uncertain for the first preseason game next week. In Neufeld’s absence, former B.C. Lion/Saskatchewan Roughrider Jermarcus Hardrick has been taking a lot of reps with the No. 1 offence at right tackle. Receiver Gerrard Sheppard and LB Kyle Knox, two newcomers trying to make an impression, are both close to returning to work. The bumps and bruises that have kept Knox from practicing has taken away some of the momentum he had gathered with an impressive rookie camp last week. “Kyle Knox is right there around the corner ready to go,” said O’Shea. “He’s an exciting player we want to get out there and another of those guys playing linebacker that we think can play for us.”
  22. I wanna see him back at his natural spot at RT and see if he can 1) Stay healthy, and 2) Play as well as they think he can in that position...
  23. I still think Neufeld is a pretty good OL when he's healthy, but it *seems* like he just can't stay healthy...
  24. The kid is a pure athlete, no question....but as a football player? I'm not sure. The physical attributes are so teasing to any football club..."if we could just teach him to be a football player!!"
