I don't believe that.......but I do believe this was the first time they had an ANNOUNCED attendance of less than capacity. Was bound to happen. The novelty has worn off.
the 01 GC was on ESPN CC last night and I almost.....almost.......decided to watch it. Couldn't bring myself to do it. I still have never re-watched the game in the last 18 years. It's still too soon and hurts too much...
I thought Montreal played some of their worst football of the season, and we still never really put this game away until the final gun sounded. After watching it a second time, there's nothing about the win that makes me think we'll give Calgary a game on Saturday. I'm not saying we're "for sure" going to lose, but just that nothing about the Montreal win gives me confidence. They've got a lot of work to do if they wanna beat Calgary right now...
Streveler has had far more playing time than any second year player ever should. Not only did he start the first month for us last year but they've worked in a whole extra series of plays just for him during games where he's not the starter. It's absurd to day he hasn't been given enough reps...
I just wanna post......if we lose MOS to Chicklets Clemens in the offseason, and MTL pays Khari what he wants.......and we're just left with scraps and have to start again from the beginning. Imma cry for a week straight.......
I need to re-watch this game sober to post in this thread properly, but I'll say this: Bailey shouldn't come outta the game ever again.....now, to get Petey in for Nicky...
Who's even close? Not Strev... Not as an overall QB. The biggest thing is the ability to read D and process everything instantly. I still put Nichols up there with pretty much anyone in the league right now... When he's fully healthy.
Buck won't work for Dinwiddie (as he shouldn't) and I dint like the idea of tossing a guy who's shown years of loyalty to the organization, and could also be a very good OC in his own right.
