I had a bit of a wake up call over the weekend, when my anxiety and depression hit me SUPER hard and put a good scare into me, and I've decided that I'm not going to focus as much on the "negative". It's easy to say "I can't do this, I can't do that" because of COVID. So I'm choosing to focus on the things I will be able to do. Golf is going to be acceptable in a limited capacity. I'm fairly confident I'm going to be able to take my boat out and go fishing this summer. I'm going to spend more time in my backyard doing gardening and such. There's a ton of negative over all of us right now, and it's CRUCIAL for your own sanity to try and focus on every bit of positive you can find.

cheaper to run pre-produced content than live stuff. Way less overhead. But you're right...they're desperate for live stuff, just f***ing bite the bullet and air it. You'd have to think that ad clients would be on board. All the agriculture companies....seed companies...implement companies....they're all ramping up ad buys right now ahead of seeding, and there's a fair bit of crossover in target audience, so they should be big time potential clients for a full live broadcast. Alas, Toronto people behind all of it don't know what I'm talking about....

I hadn't considered the "multiple games per day" thing....that makes sense. Really interesting. Also, because it's what I do, I'm curious about how TV broadcasts of the games would work. Every team has their own regional broadcaster..... would they all travel to the neutral site and be sequestered as well? Lotta questions yet, for sure...

I was hoping there would be more footage that I hadn't already seen, but a lot of it was the CFL game recaps and other stuff that we've seen on TSN. There was some locker room footage that I'd never seen that's cool. I would have liked to have seen some interviews, after the fact, with players and coaches and Tait/Irving. All in all, it was fun and gave me something to be excited about re: Bombers 2020. I'm praying for a miracle and they find a way to play fall ball...

anyone put much thought into the draft at all? Next Thursday night.... I'm stoked for it because it'll likely be all the CFL football we get this year. As always, I hardly know anything about the prospects (especially with no combine) but I'm sort of hoping we get Noah Hallett, just for the story of having both brothers in back to back years.

not sure about that because apparently Edmonton is the leading choice for Pacific Division. Bettman and Jason Kenney apparently had a chat about it recently...

Allen was one of the best running QBs in CFL history, so that gives him a bit of an edge on some...

@17to85 was making the case the other day about guys like Terry Vaughn and a few others that are being overlooked in this conversation.... he's not wrong. I'm not convinced that Geroy is 3, but if he is, the drop-off from 2 to 3 is massive.

I would never say Geroy wasn't a great receiver...... but he's MASSIVELY overrated.
