Montreal has been sold and the new owner has said they're not going anywhere, and they'll be fine through the pandemic..... so there's that.

I read a thing about how the Feds are leery about putting any money into something that might not exist next year. They will only put money into something that is going to run, preferably this year, but FOR SURE next year and the foreseeable future. So, that's where the "politically" comes in.....politically, it helps them a ton to actually play games

So, it's weird, I know........but as I sit out here in west-central AB............. I have a dream in life that I can be home in EastMan, on my boat, fishing one of the many incredible lakes in The Nop or The Whiteshell, while listening to a Bombers game (road game, of course!) on the radio. For now, this will be the next best thing. We're heading out in the boat this weekend to fish some shitty sloughs that they call lakes out here, and I'll be listening to these re-broadcasts on my phone. Close enough......

I did know......because I posted it after it was first announced Tonight is the final regular season game.......tomorrow is West Semi.....Sunday is West Final.....Monday is GC post-game show and parade celebration stuff. Each night at 7CST......

If think it'll be Winnipeg and Toronto, but who knows. Sask and Wpg would be the most sensible options.

I've spent an inordinate amount of time thinking about this, and I think the only thing that would get me to wear one is "The only way you can ever attend a Bombers game again, is...." and even then, it's something I'd think long and hard about.....

I can't understand why the players associations would ever agree to their lives being put at such high risk...... and don't say $$$ because they've already got more than enough, and I can't see them risking their lives over it.

I'll just stay home, thanks... you can count me as one of those people who didn't realize their every day life was called "self isolation"......

and I get that for sure, but I think what I'm saying is that I'd rather just stay home and avoid people than go out and have to wear a mask....

You can talk about venues all day long, but the issue for me is how do you play a contact sport like football where guys are constantly spitting and otherwise transmitting viruses to each other...? There is no way to play a sport like football safely. And all it takes is one guy testing positive and the whole thing is shut down, right? I'm still waiting for an answer to that one....for football AND hockey.

Yeah, I was saying the same thing about Kenney here in AB. The guy is a first class *******, for sure, but he's at least got the brains to understand that the health professionals are the ones who know what's going on and you have to listen to them first and foremost. Let the Chief Medical Officers of Health do their thing...that's what they're there for .
