'OB for the pre-game, half time and post-game.......every single time.

Isn't Canada like 1-2% positive rate?
-
Jones and Matthews.......easily the two biggest assholes in the CFL during my time as a fan.
-
Looks like it's Winnipeg as the hub, if they're able to get rolling in September..........
-
On my bucket list, is the opportunity to sit with Doug Brown and drink whiskey and hear "off the record" stories.

Nate Davis, Ed Philion, Diamond Ferri, Davis Sanchez.....virtually everyone that ever played for the Riders.....

Favourite and least favourite Bomber
Noeller replied to TrueBlue4ever's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Doug Brown probably favourite Bomber. Everything that I would want to cheer for. Jamie Stoddard a close second. Least favourite is tough to pick. I kind of want to say Charles Roberts for his role in the 2007 GC debacle (and possibly 2001...) -
also brewing this morning, the NHL/NHLPA are close to ratifying an extension to the current CBA which would include the NHL returning to the next two Winter Olympics. (Huzzah!)

good riddance...

If I absolutely HAD to pick someone........this would probably be it. But, also, **** anyone who wasn't a Bomber...

I'm embarrassed to say that was my introduction to his work. Thankfully, as an adult, I've learned about the incredible things he did in the early days of TV... As an aside, if you haven't seen it, Jerry Seinfeld's "Comedians In Cars..." ep feat Reiner and Brooks is just fabulous.

pffffffffffffffft.....................

Carl Reiner passed at 98. A full life....a life well lived. One of the funniest people of all time.
-
Around 10% positive.... That's an astronomical number, compared to virtually everywhere else. Insane.

I'll kill you while you sleep........

**** you and "Cancel Culture".... He went on a homophobic rant! There is no place for intolerance anywhere. **** anyone who says shitty things about any kind of minority group.

Bradley is a cheap *******. Yes his money kept franchises afloat, but just barely, and I don't think he ever turned any of those franchises into anything more than a tax write off. The sooner we get him outta the league and have more owners that actually care about having a successful franchise, the better.

Has been mentioned many many times since last night by the talking heads.... If season cancelled, then each of the play ins gets a 1/8 chance.
-
Relax, Stamps fan.... All non-Bombers are assholes and I hate them all. And there's nothing wrong with that.

This is the only thing that needs to be said in this thread. *spits*

We'll see what shakes down, but I couldn't be happier to see both Ottawa and Detroit choke on a bag of dicks last night. I can't stand both of those franchises and didn't want either of them to get Lafreniere. Seems there's still a good shot Montreal gets him and that would suck, too, but I'll cross that bridge later....

I know I'm late to the party, but I've found myself off work for a bit and I've been bingeing Hank Azaria's Brockmire. Really enjoying it for the most part. Some of the hardcore "partying" is a little intense for me, but all of the baseball stuff and cameos from some legendary broadcasters is pretty great. Quite a few LOL moments...

I've said all along, while I understand all the reasons they're (all sports leagues) trying to get going, it just doesn't seem worth it to me. Just ******* lock it all down until this time next year and see where we're at.

I'm pretty vocal about my dislike of all DC movies since Nolan's Batman Trilogy, but holy cow do I love the idea of Keaton coming back as some sort of Fury-like advisor. Now, for me, Christian Bale is my Batman, but I still feel like this is a good move and there's a lot they could do with this...

God, I miss TC. I've only been a couple of times, but the best one, by far, was the year the Women's World Cup was on, so TC was moved over to the field next to IGF. @17to85 and I road-tripped it out from Calgary to spend a couple days at camp. A hell of a time. All the fans could come and sit right on the sidelines and watch. All the media folks were there...I remember Bob Irving playing with his granddaughter for a bit during it.....I remember Wade Miller coming out and announcing that they'd brought in hot dog carts and it was free food for everyone. Dave was wearing his Doug Brown jersey, and it was the year that Ivan Brown was trying to make the team, and was also going to be wearing 97, so he was yelling at Dave about the jersey....and I think he said something about how it was nice that he wouldn't even have to change the nameplate. Ha ha. Ray was there with his Feoli-Gudino jersey cheering on his boy. Man, that was a great time...
