Serious question - who's our DMOP through 6 games?

1st game of the year I chose him and nothing... So I've been scared to go back to it. And now I'm out. Booooooooo.

Also, mentioned on the TV broadcast, the DB didn't extend his arms on the push off which makes it rather innocuous. Had it been a more aggressive push off with arm extension, that might have changed things...

Here's the thing about who deserved a Cup.... Stegall andnl Brown deserved it. Roberts.... I don't know that he ever earned it.

Ricky Ray.... Forever an awful line and is still a Top 5 all time.

AC never succeeded without one of the best OL the leagues ever known....

More so than anyone else on my list, AC was a product of a good system... Surrounded with a lot more tools and weapons than others. When he didn't have everything perfect around him, he wasn't as good. As Mark says above, Frito made the most out of the least. Fist bump to Matty G for remembering Jeff Garcia. He was here for such a short period of time that I totally forgot about him. An NFL talent that should never have been up here.

Nope. Just flat out wrong. Ray might be the most underrated CFL player ever and AC the most overrated (it's him or Allen)...

If you're gonna do something that dumb you should have to eat it....

My only real concern in this election is ending the pandemic and making sure it doesn't get extended further than it needs to. I believe that Erin O'Toole's Canada looks a lot like Jason Kenney's Alberta. I've seen that TV show and don't want a movie thanks.

TP still around 3% where it's been the last while. As long as you keep masks and the current mitigation measures in place, it'll be much much much better than other jurisdictions........

Yes, giving up entirely is the way to go........**** off. Just because that's one way it's being done, doesn't mean it's the only way. You can absolutely make the next generation enjoy things the way CJOBs broadcast does it. It doesn't HAVE to be the TSN/ESPN way....

quite the accusation from them anyhow......and I know there was a lot of mis-information going around the week of the GC, saying that CJOB/Irving were upset about not having broadcast rights to the game (which Irving cleared up later, stating it was patently false that he was upset...he understands broadcast rights agreements as well as anyone) so I'm wondering if that rumour-mongering carried its way to "the Bombers hate Bauming". I have no doubts that there were some hurt feelings over how Bauming (and Jeff Hamilton!) chose to vote in the team-specific awards, but I'd have a hard time believing that they'd be so petty as to ban Bauming from the sideline. The truth, I suppose, will be lost to the ether.....

Irving dictates the tone.....and he's a consummate professional. I can say with absolute certainty that, from a professional perspective, Bob Irving is far and away the best in the league at his job. Nobody is close. The CJOB pre-game maintains a tone of "guys sitting around over beers (rums for Knucks) BSing about football" which is why it's so popular. It's a very professional broadcast thanks to Bob, and has a lot of energy thanks in large part to Doug. I just can't say enough good things about the trio of Bob, Doug and Ed. The stuff about Doug using unnecessarily big words is 100% fact, but I do feel he's getting better with time. I worked with another guy who did this a lot. I always felt it was an over-compensation with the guy I worked with....for Doug? Who knows. I'm not privy enough to inside info to really know.......but it's a small gripe that's getting less and less so with time. At the end of the day, the CJOB broadcast (with the exception of the post-game phone calls) is terrific......during football season, it's the absolute highlight of my week.

sigh....clogging up perfectly good threads for absolutely no reason. ****, we have a half dozen people on here who are so clueless they just ruin the place.

Moderating was awful for this event. Felt like a "Pile On Trudeau" and he was never really given a chance to respond. Was tough to watch.
