so in the babiest of baby steps, Alberta announced this morning that you can now print off a little card that shows your vaccination record (up til now, we've only had a big 7x11 piece of paper from our second vaxx appointment). They say they're working on a QR code that will be available "in the coming weeks".......still no word on an actual mandate for "passports" to access non-essential services. They are, however, having an emergency meeting of the AB COVID "Task Force" (government committee that votes on changes to protocol) today......soooooooooooooooooo.............maybe?

One of those games I know exactly where I was when it happened. Was rooming with a Gapper at that time, working my first gig up in Dauphin, and we were listening to it on the radio (wasn't televised).....I was ecstatic. Roomie.....not so much.

A couple of us made a roadie from Alberta back home for that weekend. Got tix to the Bombers game where we beat Montreal to take over 1st place in the East, and then we headed over to that "4-Play" sports bar across from MTSC and watched Chris Mason shut out the Canes that night for a big Jets win. A marching band from the UofM was going through the bar playing songs....it was just unreal. What a ******* weekend we had.....hoooooooweeeeeeeeeeeeee. They're still scraping 17to85's puke off of Broadway..........

I think people might be mis-interpreting what's being done. Suitor, as someone who has to talk about this stuff on the air, just wants clarification from the league as to why the decision was made (or not made) so he can talk about it on TV. This isn't about "I'm trying to get Harris suspended"....it's just an info grab so he can talk about it on the air. I don't have a problem with that.

So Twitter says Mitch Marner says the Leafs are 100% vaccinated, which was followed up with a tweet that the team went with the J&J one-shot vaxx because it would be easier.......interesting........much lower efficacy and that's against the initial variant. Not sure how it holds up vs Delta and others.... beat me to it......

I voted today as well.... Had time and figured why not. The CPC guy is gonna lose some votes to whack job alt rights in this riding but will still win handily. I knew my vote wouldn't matter so I voted for the party rather than the potential MP. I'll sleep soundly with that tonight...

I think people mistook my comments in this thread as being anti-ChuckDiesel1 (...if anyone remembers those days.....) but that's inaccurate. I'm thankful for the entertainment he brought us from his work on the field. I just think we'd have at least 1 more Cup, if not 2, if he'd put in ANY work whatsoever. Having said that, he 100% deserves to be in the ring of honour, whenever the club deems it's his time. He's one of the most talented RBs to ever play the 3 Down Game...
