  1. for my fellow HIMYM superfans..... https://tvline.com/2020/05/07/cobie-smulders-robin-sparkles-returns-video-himym/?fbclid=IwAR0xMwc1BXt7TYJ0_Td6jfmJE51QBdBcrI4ntVO8bHiou1JVzFgMNADI_og
  2. In my defense, it was direct quotes from Horgan in BC and Trudeau. And again, I fully understand that nobody really knows anything right now...they're all guessing. But when the people at the top seem resided to the idea that it's "vaccine or nothing", you just sort of go along with it. But time will tell, I suppose. Everyone's most afraid of that second wave come flu season in the fall...
  3. You don't have to look any further than the hockey players on Letterkenny to know that this is exactly how young hockey players are and that it's almost "celebrated". I know for a fact this is how a lot of them (not all) are. It's gross, but it's a major part of the culture. In 10 years, they're gonna be disgusted with themselves.
  4. the reason I brought up a vaccine in regards to "returning to full normal", is that I keep reading how we won't have gatherings over 50 people without a vaccine. So, no fans at sports or concerts until a vaccine. Now, obviously I don't know ****.... just that's what I keep reading in legitimate media.
  5. There's no vaccine YET but there will be one. Life will not fully return to normal until that vaccine is ready and available to the world. Hopefully this calendar year but might not be until sometime in 2021... Until that time, we'll continue to live this "new normal".
  6. You can put whatever you want on those masks and they still look silly and I think people wearing them look silly. Now, are they helpful and keeping people safe and healthy? Absolutely. No question. But I think if it's "stay home" or "wear a mask", I'm going to just stay home.
  7. Just for clarification on this story, more than 800 of the 921 have recovered. Still really awful, but just for clarity's sake....
  8. I laughed at the thought of him having to call Osh back the next day because he was too much of a mess the first time... ha ha.
  9. I was thinking more along the lines of:
  10. Absolutely disagree...at least, not ENTIRELY.....measurables are just a small part of it.
  11. Listen...you're new here. You showed up right around the draft and started defending this kid out of Nevada, which makes me believe you either are him or the family (most likely)...it happens regularly. Thank you for joining the conversation. Most of us have been around a long time, and have seen some ****. It's the "NFL body type with an injury history so he fell to the later rounds" thing that is HIGHLY suspicious because we have seen it so many times before..... most notably with Rashaun Simonise a few years ago. Nobody is saying FOR SURE that Orange isn't going to pan out......it's just that there's sufficient evidence to be highly skeptical until proven otherwise.
  12. It's already happening. Even in my small town here, everyone is out on this Saturday, completely disregarding social distancing practices. I went to CT to get some lawn fertilizer stuff and it was a circus. I got in and got out but it was a heroic effort to try and avoid people. Idiots who won't get it until we look like Italy with dead bodies everywhere...
  13. I'm petrified. Very happy to be somewhat secluded in a small town north of the real problem (Calgary). My wife's mother is in a long term care home in South Calgary (she has a very advanced MS) and thankfully she's safe so far, but we worry non stop. Wife wants to visit her for Mothers Day, but I don't want any part of going into the city...
  14. based on the picks we had available to us, we did well. As to be expected, from Walters and Co...
  15. fwiw, Alberta is talking about opening up this summer for some classes, but they're going to work with the school boards now to formulate a plan as to what that might look like, exactly. But it's something they're at least willing to consider, if numbers stay relatively low.
  16. for sure, but this new guy they drafted last night REEKS of Simonise....
  17. the whole "NFL Athlete" thing doesn't mean **** to me after Rashaun Simonise...
  18. I'm not as concerned about the kids learning as I am about the kids creating a giant petri dish at school and bringing God-only-knows-what home, and then it spreads like tinder fire. If we can keep everyone locked away and keep things from spreading, that is far more of a concern to me. But, I say that as someone who (thank Christ....) doesn't have kids at home.
  19. Welcome to our board.......same was said about a guy we took a couple years ago. So, again, we all hope for the best, but it remains to be seen.
  20. O-O remains to be seen if he can stay healthy....
  21. Curious to hear what this means...
  22. Wade Miller. Kyle Walters. Mike Oshea. You don't say.....
  23. Jesus that's a skinny DE... Holy ****.
