Taiter says he's expected in town during the bye. I'd think all the new acquisitions will be...

We almost need a therapy thread about that... @17to85can lead the way..... I have no doubts my wife will tell you I'm a perfect husband in every way.........
-
I'll bet he's not even in the country till next week at the earliest. All the new additions will suit up after the bye, I'll bet...

Who are we likely to lose after this season??

that actually crossed my mind recently, but I think he's more like Buono than Trestman.... -
Fwiw, he was out on the field crammed into Kongbo's jersey today. I don't think he's THAT far off....they'll give him this week likely and then he's back after the bye.

it would have to be an incredible offer for Buck to leave. He and his family are extremely committed to Wpg/MB... -

one of the beat guys asked Osh about Harris earlier this week and he said they were waiting for results from tests that he had done either Sunday or Monday. Sooooooo..... I dunno.
-
Doesn't kick in till Nov 30th. Travel vaxx requirements won't affect us till GC....
-
Cooper's just depth...Oliveira and Augustine are the RBs. But if Harris is out long-term, then you need some depth. Shame he's American, but you needed SOMEONE.... I was having an incredibly boring day at work......thanks Bombers!
-
Harris might be ****** for the year.....just some depth maybe?

after the bye, this team is going to be scary good for the final push to the playoffs....

On the contrary, I would think that if it was a relatively unimportant player, they'd be gone by now. I wonder if it's one of the more important players that outright refused the jab. Too important to just cut....

You know Rigmaiden already left for BC, right? -
That quote about the Bombers being so much better than anyone that they'll only lose to themselves from here on out....coming from someone on another team.......I wanna make that my profile picture for eternity.

I believe he's very involved in a men's soccer league and does some minor sports coaching as well.....he's quite involved in the community. -
this is always fun: https://3downnation.com/2021/10/20/insider-talk-montreals-trade-capital-torontos-rising-receiver-lawlers-breakout-season/ I’m not surprised that Kenny Lawler has played so well this season. He didn’t see the ball a lot in 2019 because of scheme but he really looked great on film. He was bound to produce at a higher level. Winnipeg is still head and shoulders above everyone else. Nobody will beat them straight-up. If they lose again it’ll be because they beat themselves. Zach Collaros is playing great and they’ve got the best offensive and defensive lines in the league by a large margin — a really large margin. When (Mike) O’Shea says (Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ kicker Ali) Mourtada hits the same ball every time he’s not wrong: it’s always outside the posts.

One thing that I really should have noted in this discussion about MOS.......once one learns of the greatness of Manitoba, it's an extremely desirable place to live. MOS, like me, is a big outdoors guy....hunting, fishing, camping, etc......and Manitoba's as good as it gets for that stuff. -

Biggest mistake of my life......and that's saying something! -

listen, all I'm saying is MOS is Argos royalty. One of their all time greatest. He's born and raised in Ontario and spent his entire career there. I wouldn't blame the guy one iota if he eventually wanted to go there, and the idea that "well, housing is too expensive!" is laughable. That's not ever going to be an issue. As for Walters, also an Ontario guy whose entire life and career were there before coming to the Bombers. While less likely to leave, I still wouldn't be the least bit shocked if he did. And certainly wouldn't blame him. But....these aren't things to worry about right now. Just enjoy the ride for as long as it lasts.... -

Yeah, there's absolutely no way they'd ever factor in cost of living to his salary and other job perks............................................ -

x2. I'm trying to be a sponge and just soak up this season for all it's worth. This is an incredibly rare thing we're witnessing...you don't want to miss a second of it. I still remember the 01 season and that remarkable 12 game win streak and how much fun that was week in, week out. I'll worry about off-season stuff after the fun is over....hopefully sometime in January... -
JWJ is a half step from being Duron Carter..... I'm not sure there's any redeeming that.

He's only 30 yet. If it works out, he can play for awhile.... And we've still got Legs to learn.
