This had me thinking about that scene from Moneyball. The only way O'Shea is going to play a new guy is if the incumbent is not signed or is traded.

I think the issue here is with the CFLPA. They haven't determined yet if the influx of money will go to player salaries or if they will allocate it other ways (pension, playoff money, training camp pay etc). Walters is wise not to spend the money until he knows is actually available. Freisen put his own spin on it as well;
