Elgersma should play in the UFL this spring and see if the NFL comes sniffing around. UFL training camps start up next week so we will know soon enough if he plans on going that route.

They could have just released him, which is what most teams would have done. By transferring Ceresna's contract to the Bombers, it eliminated any opportunity for a screw up. Like another team trying to scoop in to try to sign in. Hervey did Walters a favour, maybe he's getting a steak dinner out of the deal.

All the 2025 SMS was spent. The question is why didnt Walters allocate more towards starter salaries instead of deciding to carry a larger non-injury taxi squad and also leaving money leftover that was put towards 2026 contracts.

Yeah, have teams carry a 4th quarterback on the non game roster and pay them at least 100k. It will allow new guys a bit of time to develop instead of the constant re-signing of QBs when one gets hurt. 100k won't attract guys that would sign in the NFL but it may bring in guys that might otherwise sign with the UFL.

That's dirty.

Thats on top of the 400k increase from last year.
