Zach WIlson is the injured Jets QB and was projected to be the game 1 starter. He's only expected to miss a few games at this point. At minimum Strevy shud get a practice roster spot. Remember Strevy needs to be on the active roster for 6 more games to qualify for his NFL pension.

I believe it's because the league is trying to be more transparent when healthy guys are placed on the 1 game injured list. Look at the Als, they have 4 healthy guys listed in their injury report.

They also have 12 home wins in a row with their record being 16. If the Bombers win their next 3 home games they can tie their record on Sept 30th against the Riders.
