There has been some good reviews but also some not so good ones, I think it's one of those ones we'll have to wait and see on, cause it's also possible that because it's a female super hero movie people are reluctant to be as critical of it as they might be if it was just another man. Kind of like how people went out of their way to praise chick ghostbusters or be labelled sexist.- TSN CFL Fantasy Football
Now I was reading somewhere that they weren't totally sure if they'd be doing that this year, dunno if that's true or not or what the status is but by god I hope they get something.- Edmonton to Host 2018 Grey Cup
I think it's pretty much a guarantee that Hamilton gets it when they actually want it but they don't feel they are in a position to host the thing at this time.- Prognosticator Time for us Gurus

Which is also homerism, at this point anything other than ranking the Bombers higher is just delusion and homerism. It's OK, in riderville that's what is considered rational thought so I won't hold it against you but you should know that once you step outside the bubble that **** doesn't fly.- Around the League - Training Camp Discussion
Davis was ahead of Bennett on the depth chart last season so based purely on that it's a point in the Bombers favour since it appears that Bennett is #2 in riderland. Then Lefevour has backed up and played and won games in the league before too so that's another check in the Bombers favour. You know what the only logic for rating the Riders qb depth ahead of the bombers is? Homerism. Pure blind homerism.- Bombers Training Camp 2017 - May 28
OK but since Hurl was starting MLB the team improved it's defensive line... Was it replacing Hurl that made it go from 8th to 6th or upgrading the DL? I mean not like people haven't talked about Ritchie Halls defense needing a good DL to be truly effective since he was hired or anything...- Around the League - Training Camp Discussion
yeah and now Kevin Glenn is a 37 year old qb who has been in decline for several years so I dunno what point you're trying to make here. With Durant you got a chance if he stays healthy to actually win games, with Glenn best case scenario is being mediocre at best on offense.- Around the League - Training Camp Discussion
5 years ago I'd agree with everything you say about Glenn, but it's 2017.....- The Simpson's "Classic Moments"

Have you guys out there had a chance to try anything from Coulee Brewing out of Lethbridge? Stopped by their tasting room a few weeks back and they have some solid stuff but I know you like your IPAs and I'd be curious to see what your thoughts were on their IPA, was really something I didn't expect, way more citrusy than I had expected and not really bitter at all.- Around the League - Training Camp Discussion
What Rider fans will quickly come to realize is that Durant was a strong thick legged man, so many times a defender would look like he had a sure sack but Durant was able to fight it off and still make a throw. That's not gonna happen with Kevin Glenn back there, Glenn feels the heat and he's down. Get a hand on him and he's down. Yeah he's got a quick release and tries to work around it that way, but if you get pressure on Glenn and don't let him get into his groove it's gonna be a long ugly night for your offense.- The BEER thread

I don't think Nichols is any kind of top tier qb or anything, he's good enough to win with if the team around him is playing well, but here is the major difference between Nichols and Glenn.... Nichols showed some real leadership with the Bombers last season where as Kevin Glenn is in no way shape or form a leader of any kind, that coupled with his age and declining skills makes me skeptical he's going to be any screaming hell in a place like Saskatchewan.- Cheveldayoff willing to move first round pick
Uhh yeah that's exactly why, things like that put everything else in perspective and it's possible that he doesn't have the same drive for hockey. That's why it's a question mark, if a guys heart isn't in the game anymore no one can blame him but it also impacts the kind of player he is.- The BEER thread
I gotta agree about Lake of the Woods, Their beers are nothing special and I always come away wanting more from them. I haven't had a chance to try enough of the newer Manitoba ones and I do want to so we'll see what happens next time I am out that way. Had a few from Torque and I quite liked them. And can we all agree though that **** this trend for Gose and Sours? Get that **** out of here.- Cheveldayoff willing to move first round pick
And perhaps his commitment to the game is in question as well. I think Meyers value is as low right now as it's ever been just because you don't know if the guy is actually going to play let alone how well he's going to play.- The Simpson's "Classic Moments"

You're right it's not in the balance.... you have no Durant at all period and no Kevin Glenn isn't going to be the saviour. He didn't do crap in Montreal last year, guy is just about done and there is a reason he's been the backup most places lately. Durant was the franchise in Saskatchewan, he was there and playing they won he wasn't playing and they were an embarrassment, it truly does blow my mind that Rider fans are so willing to accept moving Durant in favour of Kevin Glenn, Vince Young and a bunch of young qbs. We've seen this movie in the CFL before and it's a recipe for disaster. - Upcoming Movies
